Réservez votre séjour à Nawagattegama

This hotel should not be advertised in Expedia. The photos do not represent the reality of this property at all. This was the worst place we stayed during our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms were dirty and in extremely poor condition and appeared to be badly neglected. The walls had peeling paint, there was mold in the bathrooms, and the cement bathtub in the so-called premium room was particularly unpleasant. We had booked a bed-and-breakfast package, but we were told that breakfast was not included because we had booked a room-only rate. Later, they realized their mistake and offered breakfast, but it was very disappointing. They did not even serve tea or coffee with breakfast. As a result, we checked out early and did not even bother requesting breakfast on the following morning. It is a shame that a property in such a beautiful location is maintained so poorly. We will never book this hotel again and cannot recommend it to others.

Excellent hotel! Great room, super clean. Excellent food and amazing two swimming pools. Nice spa also! We extended our stay from 2 nights to 4!
