We recently stayed at this VRBO in Nashville and overall had a good experience. The place was extremely clean and well-kept, which we really appreciated. Itās also in a great location ā very close to downtown, and just under a mile walk to Broadway. If walking isnāt your thing, Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash were super easy to use, quick, and reliable for both transportation and food delivery. There are also lots of great restaurants nearby, making it a very convenient spot for enjoying the city.That said, there were a few downsides that impacted the relaxing vibe we were hoping for. Thereās major construction right next to the parking garage, and the construction crews start at 6 a.m., so sleeping in wasnāt really an option. We were also without water for about four hours one day (we were notified of this in advance), and then on our last day, we unexpectedly lost power for several hours. While these issues werenāt the homeownerās fault, they definitely affected our overall experience and made our five-day stay less relaxing than we had hoped.The host did acknowledge the inconveniences and provided a slight refund, which we appreciated ā it showed they were aware and cared about the guest experience. However, even with that gesture, the disruptions were enough to impact the quality of our stay.The home itself is nice and comfortable, and the location is hard to beat. Just be aware of the ongoing construction and the possibility of utility interruptions when planning!
