The Space:
This Airbnb is intentionally designed by parents frustrated with inhospitable traveling accommodations for children, so you can expect a thoughtful family experience when staying here.
Gather the whole family around the great big kitchen table to have a meal or play a game, then catch up and hang out in the welcoming boho living space or get cozy and chill while watching your favorite show upstairs.
The two-story house has two bedrooms, a living area (with convertible couch-bed & TV), and one full bathroom that is accessible through the master bedroom. The second upstairs bedroom is specifically designed for children and can accommodate quite a few when you pull the toddler bed out too (there is also a pack and play that can be moved about).
Downstairs there is another bedroom with a comfortable queen-sized bed, fully stocked kitchen, clothes washer and dryer, another full bathroom, a back patio space, another living room, and a full-size dining table that seats 10!
Guest Access:
There is a wide driveway in the front that is all yours and can accommodate up to 4 cars. We live in a friendly and tucked away neighborhood, minutes from downtown, but with very little "city noise". There are lots of young families and elderly neighbors who we love to have as our neighbors and hope you will too during your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Expect to see friendly neighbors taking walks and children on bikes in this established neighborhood within sight of downtown. Hip music venues, bars, and restaurants can be reached within 15 minutes. Downtown is great but also check out Berry Hill, 12th South and The Gulch. They are close by and worth a look.
Getting Around:
There is tons of parking in our driveway for 4-5 vehicles. Uber/Lyfts are about $10 to downtown and catching a ride is much easier than parking in downtown garages. Otherwise, take your car around the city and enjoy free parking at many sites and attractions that are not downtown.
Other Things to Note:
This house is connected to our main family home (our names are Zach and Melanie Pond) where we live with our three school-aged children. You can expect to see and hear us living our normal lives during your stay. We are always up to meet new people and answer any questions you have. Your main host is Emily Haynes, who lives a block away and is quick to answer any questions as needed.
Interaction with Guests:
On most occasions, we will be available at any time to answer questions or deal with any unexpected circumstances.
