Less than ¼ mile away, the Salt Creek Trail provides a scenic, paved path (¾ mile) leading to the Brown County Music Center, Brown County YMCA, IGA grocery store, and additional restaurants and shops in Salt Creek Plaza. Prefer to drive? You’ll be less than a 5-minute drive from the Brown County State Park or a slightly further–but still easy–drive to Yellowwood State Forest, Lake Monroe, and the nearby cities of Bloomington and Columbus.

Convenient to Nashville
I liked that each family had a separate space to stay.
We loved the outdoor area on the second floor where all of the family gathered. It was so nice at night because the little lights all came on & we lit the gas flame burner.
We could easily walk to all the shops in town.
It was very quiet in the evenings.
It was safe for our little guy who was 18 months old.

Lovely
The Barnburner is a fantastic place for a large family gathering in Brown County Indiana. Our family stayed two days and celebrated our early Christmas. The owners are so easy to work with. We will definitely be recommending the Barnburner to family and friends. Very close to all the shops and restaurants.

Exceeded expectations!
We booked the Barn Burner for an 80th birthday celebration. Kara was great support for our trip and all the units were very well equipped to accommodate our family of all ages. And the event space was great for our family meals and gathering. We would highly recommend the Brown County Barn Burner!
