Communication with host was excellent. Upon arrival my girls and I were a little puzzled. Property is nestled back off a busy street. Stepping inside was different. Not only is this property, cozy, but it was extremely impeccably clean. The kitchen has everything you need Keurig pods baggies I mean everything!My Besties and I were able to walk to the Gnaw Mart and get firewood and we had a wonderful evening with firewood, friends, and fun. This is a yearly ritual and we will be staying here again. If I could add a picture, I would.

It was a great property, the location just wasn’t great for the price. I would have expected privacy. Getting in the hot tub and looking out at a parking lot full of trucks and equipment was tacky. Again, the cabin was great. Location, not so much.

cleanliness was fair. Dishes left in dishwasher and towels in dryer. Hot tub was a bit slimey. House had strong bleach smell upon arrival. Got better. Back yard not private or visually appealing. Utility trucks and equipment parked behind property. Workers roaming around during the day.Property location is okay although off busy road. Liked only short trip to Hard Truth.Beware of pet fee. Advertised as pet friendly but charges 185 additional cleaning fee on top of normal cleaning fee.We would not pick this property again. Brown County cabin rental was a better overall experience.Back

HOME AWAY FROM HOME!

VERY CLEAN, COZY and BEYOND HOSPITABLE!!! They have thought of literally EVERYTHING! Something for everyone! My favorite was the open concept. I could be in the kitchen repairing dinner while others are playing games, watching tv or trading, yet we were ALL TOGETHER! First time for YEARS! This man's received the BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER!! THANK YOU

Gnaw Bone Lodge

The property was exactly as described on Verbo. It was very clean and very charming. Lots of unexpected little things like many games (for inside and outside) and such a variety of books! The kitchen had all the necessities of home and then some. Beds were super comfy, which always makes a stay anywhere so much better. The owners were very friendly and helpful in all communication we had. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this property. Hope to be back ourselves in the future!

Family vacation

Our family loved this property. It was well stocked and had everything we could have possibly needed. The open floor plan allowed lots of play space for our 18 month old grandson. It was very clean and checking in and out was extremely easy and convenient. We also appreciated the fenced in backyard with fire pit and two large porches to relax on. Everyone agreed that this was the perfect place for our family time.

Wonderful Lodge

We really enjoyed our start at Gnaw Bone Lodge! Everything was well equipped and easily accessible. We enjoyed the porches and even the ability to strum a few songs on the house guitar! We only wish we had more time to spend to utilize the fire pit! Thank you for being so accommodating! You are a really great host!

Great Place for Families

We had a great family vacation staying at this property. It was the perfect size and the kids had a great time in the backyard with a bonfire. It was close to town so that we could see all the sights in Nashville. We would definitely stay again.

Cozy cabin

The cabin was very comfortable and had EVERYTHING that you could possibly need. My daughters loved all of the spa items. The washer wasn’t working when we were there but it didn’t really impact our stay. The pet fee is a little expensive but they did have a lot of items just for the dogs to make their stay enjoyable as well. Would highly recommend!

Great Girlfriend Getaway

Wonderful property that was perfect for our group of six adult women. Immaculate, spacious and comfortable. Thank you for all the extra amenities. We had everything we needed and more. Okie doke I have a new Extra Clean, Well stocked Cabin!

My husband & I met my brother/Sister-in-law e I in Nashville IN for the wknd to golf & see the town. What a wonderful surprise this cabin was! It is located on State Rd 46, but don’t let this stop you from staying here. It sits off of the road far enough that it’s not a problem at all. It’s located close to everything and so nice inside! The cabin is one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in and we’re pretty picky! The owner is here has also gone way above expectations when stocking the inside. It’s a great cabin for families or couples. The cabin is very welcoming! We would definitely stay here again!

Short girls’ weekend with high school friends

Great property with a fire pit, nice porches, and anything you could need stocked inside. There was an AC issue but it was quickly fixed by the property manager. Very clean and welcoming cabin that is also close to shops and restaurants of Brown County.

Clean, cute cabin in Brown County!!

The property was perfect for a long weekend!! It was very clean and stocked with basic essentials. Having the open layout in the main living area was great for the toddler and allowed him plenty of room to run around and play. We loved having the indoor gaming area and firepit for entertainment in the evening. This stay exceeded out expectations!!

Awesome place!

we absolutely loved our stay here. it was perfect for our two families (4 adults and 2 kids). the space was large and beautiful, and close to everywhere we wanted to go. The interior of the space was not only beautifully decorated and maintained, but it also had everything we needed. There were thoughtful care kits in every bathroom and the kitchen was fully stocked with the right type of dishes and cookware for a place in this setting, but also with dishwasher pods, paper products, towels and trash bags. we brought lots of things we didn't need because we are used to traveling places where those things aren't provided. Even the laundry room was stocked with detergents, etc. It was just a really nice place and the backyard firepit was awesome (also stocked with tons of firewood)! One thing that's always a big deal to me when i travel is comfort - my husband is 6'8" (VERY TALL) and a husky guy, and we were very comfortable in the master bedroom. when you go somewhere and you don't get good sleep, it can ruin a vacation, but the beds were all very comfortable and even the sheets and covers were all just really soft and comfy. we had plenty of extra pillows and bedding for the air mattress we brought for our 4 year old. The place even had step stools for our littles - they felt right at home. i can't remember a place i've stayed that's matched this and i travel A LOT!!! We will be back! PLus Brown County is just stunning!

Beautiful, well-stocked cabin

We really enjoyed our stay! It was definitely the best stocked and best organized rental we've ever rented. The living space was nice and open with enough seating that all our friends could hang out in the same space together. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean, too. All the pillows, sheets, towels, soap, shampoo. etc,. were very high quality. The firepit was a lovely space as well. The cabin sits right on SR 46, so traffic noise was a little loud, and there is a parking lot behind the cabin where semi trailers park through the night, but the less-than-remote location also means the cabin is just minutes from some of the best distilleries and wineries in Brown County. We would definitely stay here again!
