This rental def met our most basic needs (roof over our head, water, electricity, & - for us, most importantly - a fridge. (Were in btw homes & had all contents of previous fridge w/ us.) It's well decorated & reasonably clean. 2/3 beds were pretty uncomfortable, so not much sleep for the ones sleeping in those rooms. There were a number of things broken in the home, but in fairness, I d/n know if homeowner is local/if he is dependent on ppl telling him things need to be fixed. Cleaners shd be telling him, but you can't always rely on that. I did let him know of some repairs to be made (broken kitchen faucet & broken TP holder in main bath). I failed to mention that the drawer in the main bath wd not stay closed. Hopefully, he can have that fixed as well. We cd NOT keep the place warm, & we were there during some very cold days/nights. I don't know if there is a governor on thermostat-understandable that an owner might need to have SOME control over that, but it was impossible to stay warm while sleeping. Also, water pressure very low. Think this place wd be perfect for a short vacation. Living room was comfortable, & the washer/dryer worked great. We cooked a little, & appliances worked fine. I appreciated that lots of towels available - not a minimal # like you get in so many places. Host was very nice & responsive to all my Qs and comments.
