Large 5 Bed Scarborough Beach House w/ Wetbar, Bikes, Kayaks & Backyard Oasis!

Located in the heart of Point Judith. Welcome to our large, central air-conditioned, 5-bedroom beach house that more than comfortably sleeps 12, and is located within walking distance to Scarborough Beach, down the road from Roger Wheeler Beach, and one block down from Fisherman's Memorial State Park. This is an immaculately clean and well-maintained house that is tastefully updated with new niceties and conveniences yearly. Enormous great room with a wet bar and all the top gadgets and amenities to make entertaining at home the "where it's at" of your RI beach vacation. Plenty of privacy and comfy seating areas in the large private grassy backyard provide a large, charming space to gather together while enjoying the long summer nights in Narragansett.

The home layout: 5 spacious bedrooms: 4 each with queen beds and a 5th bedroom with a bunk over a full and an additional twin trundle. Unlike many Narragansett rentals, each bedroom has enough pillows (new every year), and fresh, comfy, clean quilts and bed linens made up and ready for you at check-in. Plenty of fluffy, clean bath towels and lots of beach towels are also provided for guests. All paper products, trash bags, and cleaning supplies are provided but your group should plan to replenish paper products if using more than the initial supplied amount.

There are 2 full bathrooms, one additional half bath, and a large stone-tiled outdoor shower to clean the kids off after a long beach day and enjoy a hot shower under the stars at night. There is a new large-capacity washer and dryer.

The spacious kitchen has everything necessary to cook and entertain inside and out. Stocked with enough dishes, flatware, and glasses to easily serve 20. There is seating for 14 inside the kitchen and the newly expanded deck has an outdoor dining table that comfortably seats 14, along with comfortable glider rockers, and additional seating sets for another 12 people. The great room also boasts plenty of indoor seating options for the whole family, a 75" smart TV, and tables for included card games, board games, and puzzles. Best of all is a wet bar with an additional beverage refrigerator, alongside various blenders, a margarita maker, a professional milkshake machine, popcorn maker, and many other gadgets and glassware to enjoy the best of home entertaining, so you never need to leave home in the evening after a great beach day. The great room patio opens through sliders to the backyard oasis patio.

In addition to the newly expanded deck, the outside living spaces include a stone patio area with in-ground landscape lighting, along with a fun gas firepit table and tons of additional comfy seating options to spend those long, lazy outdoor evenings relaxing, playing cards, and sitting by the fire after your day at the beach. Located right between 2 local beaches, you get the best of both worlds- an easy walk or bike ride to the beach and the enjoyment of a private and sizable backyard for relaxing or playing cornhole, bocce, croquet, or any of the other many included lawn games conveniently located in the outdoor shed that also houses plenty of new comfortable beach chairs, coolers and bikes for your beach days and exploring the area. 5 bikes are included, and 2 kayaks (& life vests) are also available for your use. There is an outdoor inflatable movie screen/projector set up as well.

There is a cooking area with an outside propane grill and a large lobster boil burner with both lobster pot and steamer pan, so you can enjoy the fresh-off-the-boat seafood you can get right down the road at the port of Galilee, an authentic New England fishing village. On Sundays, you can walk 2 minutes up the road to our local Farmer's Market and find delicious local breads, pastries, fruits/veggies, flowers, honey, and local artisan products and art. The house is conveniently located in close proximity to the Block Island ferry, and it is only a short ride to visit Westerly as well as the islands of Jamestown and Newport. Narragansett, Westerly, Newport, and these surrounding towns boast fabulous restaurants, fresh seafood, and many local breweries and wineries, along with some well-known celebrities.

This home has 3-zone central AC (upstairs/downstairs/great room), ceiling fans in every room, a smart TV, and WiFi. This is a Saturday-to-Saturday rental. Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 10 AM.
