« The property is right on the water. Everything that they advertise is true. My husband and I kayak and there a was a nice spot by the house that was perfect for getting n the water. Everything in the house was nice. It’s a quiet neighborhood. You do have to travel down red dirt roads to get to property. It’s perfect for most people, but not for old fat folks like ourselves. « Overall the property was absolutely beautiful. We took about 15 members of our family for a weekend trip for a lowkey wedding ceremony. Don't be phased by the scenery of the drive in, as the surrounding properties are no reflection of the rental. All of the cabins were very clean and extremely cute. The event center and kitchen is absolutely stunning. Katherine was sure to pop in to see if we needed any help with decorating. Tom and Katherine were so kind and helpful throughout our time there....

« We enjoyed our stay at the Lone Star cabin. It was tucked away in a quiet area between Maud and New Boston. Nights were filled with the sounds of nature... frogs, etc. Horses just behind the cabin. The owner was very responsive and the cabin was just the right size for my husband and me and our 13 year old Jack Russell. Great place to relax! »

« Property was exceptionally clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful setting so much. Short distance to a great steakhouse and a seafood restaurant as well. We never received any information regarding the property manager but a neighbor gave us information regarding the owner who was very pleasant and helpful regarding access. Water quality needs attention. Would recommend for quiet getaway »

The house worked out well with 3 bedrooms, two living areas, and a screen porch. It was nice to have 2 TVs, 2 couches, a pool table, and a dock where we could fish. « My husband I stayed four nights in May 2024. The property is really nice. The deck has great views of the sunrise and the hammock swing is so relaxing to sit in and read a book. The house is clean, comfortable and has everything you need and more. There are kayaks, a paddle board, indoor and outdoor games. One afternoon it was raining so we played monopoly which was fun! I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family and I hope to return again someday. »
