« This motel was our first night in the US after a 10 hour flight and 3 hour drive. It was OK.. A bit tired, very noisy aircon but very pleasant staff and the breakfast option was welcome. It is convenient for Tallulah Falls and Gorge which is why we stayed. »

« Plenty of parking and in a very convenient location. The staff was super nice and attentive. However, you can definitely tell the hotel is older. It could definitely use a little bit of an upgrade. But it gets the job done! »

« Totally acceptable very affordable motel. Nothing fancy, but everything was clean & in working order. Property felt very safe, especially at night — VERY bright security lights! Convenient to downtown Franklin. Would absolutely stay there again. »

« Step back 105 years and sink yourself into a time of relaxation and small town charm. The Calhoun House has all the modern comforts but a real yester-year feel. Ed is a great historian and host and makes you feel at home, and we did.....stayed an extra unplanned night too! »

« Close to restaurants and shopping. Great Smokey Mountain Railroad Train Depot about a 2 minute drive from their parking lot. The staff is AMAZING! They give you options for your breakfast and serve it exactly the way you want it. The homemade blueberry bread is delicious. You will get a tour of the grounds as soon as you arrive. The rooms are very clean. The whole place is very charming. I highly recommend. »

« Charming, one story, very well maintained lodge located on a beautiful river. Our room was extremely clean. Our bed was super comfortable. Plenty of clean towels and hot water. Perfect location for visiting Smokie Mountain National Park. »
