Enjoy all of the comforts and conveniences of home right in the heart of the Submarine Capital of the World (Nautilus Park neighborhood of Groton, CT).

This modern and spacious, (3) bedroom waterfront home is situated off Military Highway right on the Thames River. Explore the most popular landmarks of Groton including the U.S.S Nautilus Museum. It’s the perfect location to head out and visit an abundance of local attractions; such as Mystic, Stonington Borough, Watch Hill & Miscuamicut Beaches. Property is 15 minutes from Mohegan Sun & Foxwoods Resort Casino. Newly added Great Wolf Lodge at Foxwoods, plenty of fun for all ages!

Enjoy submarines passing by the property docking at the Submarine Base. Truly an incredible experience!

This 2500 square foot home was renovated in September of 2018. It is located on the river side and is an upper level house in a property with a separate downstairs in-law apartment.

The home features modern furnishings and appliances, hardwood floors, (5) wall-mounted TV's, (6) air conditioners, (1) king size bed, (3) queen size beds, (1) full size bed, couch, and (1) queen sized air mattress.

The kitchen features a full-size refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave along with all of the necessary dishes, glassware and utensils you will need. The kitchen is also appointed with counter top appliances such as a toaster, coffee machine, blender, rice cooker, stir fry steamer, in addition to a Weber grill outside.

Clean linens and towels, coffee, soap, shampoo and paper products are provided to all guests.

If you have children, please do not let them run around up and down the stairs. We have taken as many sound-proofing measures as possible between floors.

Gorge is super nice and accommodating. The house was very spacious and over looked the water. We also got to experience the navy play the national anthem every morning. You will need a car to drive to things as it’s not close to much . Overall nice stay.

Quick weekend stay with friends and family for the Christmas craft fair at Mohegan. Beautiful location on the Thames. Right next to the Naval base, but very quiet - except for the 8 a.m. Star Spangled Banner ( loved it!). Very comfy and roomy. Beds were fair. Loved the pool table. Wish the weather was a tad better to be able to hang out on the porch looking out at the river. If in the area, will definitely stay again!

George was a great guy, and very accomodating. The house was nice and clean, good location. We seen the Submarine go by, that was cool! We went in October weather was good and we stayed 10 days. And we are going another 10 days in April 2026. This is a hidden GEM!. You won't be sorry, trust us if we are staying for another 10 days. We played pool and relaxed and we went to see the Nautillus. Everything is close by.You won't be sorry. This is the place to stay for relaxing, peacful, and fun. And our dog Bella the Hotdog loved it too. She wants to go back, that is why we are returning.

Beautiful property

The house is absolutely beautiful! The deck overlooking the river took everyone’s breath away. It was a perfect stay. Lots of room in the house. Clean and cozy. 15 minutes from Mohegan Sun. There’s not a lot of condiments to cook/eat with which is totally fine, really just a heads up to bring your own pepper, ketchup, etc. We would 10/10 recommend this place.

Totally hit the mark! This was a stay for family members for a wedding, Thanksgiving and a homecoming from a military family member. We had about 20 people for Thanksgiving and the open Floorplan dining area was perfect. We loved all the open views from windows and doors

Coast Guard Academy Family

Nine of us met here to spend some quality time with our granddaughter before her first day at the Coast Guard Academy. It was very relaxing but also very close for a day trip to Boston. We also enjoyed the town of Mystic. The house accommodated us. One child did sleep on an air mattress. The bedroom connected to the upstairs bathroom and master bedroom was a little awkward but not to many places have the number of beds we needed. We made it work for us.

Good place overall! Just know that the checkin instructions were missing some information. We had some Ubers drop folks off but Ubers can only be on the street. They can’t pull in to driveway to drop off! Other than that we had a wonderful stay. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Lovely riverside holiday!

Our family of 5 adults and 2 kids (3 & 6 yrs) had a wonderful stay over the Christmas week. The home is amazing - lots of windows looking out on the Thames River, 4 bedrooms as described, a well equipped kitchen, and a very large and comfortable open concept dining area & family room. The views are stunning, and the occasional train or boat going by was always fun to watch. There's also lots to explore in the area including a submarine museum in walking distance, and lots of amenities & restaurants within minutes by car. George was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The entry & exit procedures were easy and automatic. We would definitely recommend this VRBO home!

Very nice

The house was beautiful fit all 12 people. The service from owner was outstanding. We had a question about how to work the tv and the owner came right in and showed us how to watch what we were trying to watch. The view is just amazing and waking up from the master bedroom and looking out to the water and the sunrise was just incredible. Very nice stay definitely would recommend to anyone.

Excellent Stay with a gorgeous view.

Perfect! Our stay was wonderful. The owner is incredibly attentive and nearby. This house was perfect for a group of 7 with 2 kids in town for a wedding. Plenty of space and we even saw two submarines! The train is loud but you get used to it. The view is pretty and the amenities are great. Hard not to stay outside all day! Definitely a hidden gem in the area!

Relaxing views

We can’t wait to stay again! It was so quiet, even with the other unit downstairs which is mentioned in the description, and the two or three times the train went by in 5 days(which honestly my kid thought was cool to watch it go by so closely). The individual rooms themselves were quiet from other parts of the house. We loved the pool table and all the space to spread out! The VIEW is incredible!! It was hot when we stayed so we would pull the curtains in the evening to keep the sun from heating up the house. It would have been nice had the AC units been turned on before our arrival knowing we were checking in (it was 84 in the house when we arrived) but it cooled down quickly once we got the units running. There were some oddities about the layout of the kitchen but it was large and sufficient. There was a cabinet over the fridge that wouldn’t stay closed (just needs a catch added and that would fix that issue). The home was clean where it counted, but the ceilings are very high and had some thick cobwebs that needs to be cleaned out. I was going to unpack into the dresser but it was a little rough, some drawers were broken and it just didn’t seem clean enough to put clothes in. The house has so many amazing qualities and incredible potential! Overall we were very pleased with our stay and can’t wait to return!
