This condo is on the first floor.
Located in the residential section of the Grand Strand, this magnificent property boasts a breathtaking oceanfront private location, offering a truly unparalleled experience. With a multitude of attractions within a short drive, convenience is at your fingertips.

However, the true gem of this resort lies within its extensive water park, spanning an impressive 30,000 square feet. Delight in the ultimate aquatic adventures as you explore two indoor water parks, featuring thrilling water slides, a whimsical submarine, rejuvenating Jacuzzis, inviting pools, a colossal 250-foot lazy river, and much more. No matter the season, this water wonderland guarantees endless splashing fun throughout the year.

The front desk will issue a parking pass and wrist bands for swimming pools. It runs 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. The code for the electronic lock to access the condo, which will be sent by email and text message.

POOL AMENITIES :
Open daily from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Please Note:
-No masks, goggles, snorkels, or headgear allowed on slides.
-Palms Speed Slide: 4 ft height requirement
-Palms Corkscrew Slide: 3 ft height requirement
- Located on the 1st floor, but a few stairs are required to access the unit.

Per FEMA regulations, pool area windows are removed in early May and reinstalled by mid–late November.

We enjoyed our stay. You can just walk right out of your room and enjoy a restaurant, Starbucks, and just a one minute walk to the indoor pools, outdoor pools, and beach! It’s a great place for families. Parking is across the street in a parking garage but the dunes resort itself is so accessible and easy to navigate! Check in was smooth and easy! Room was clean. I also liked that it was a little away from the busier area of Myrtle beach. It was a short drive (8 minutes) to the boardwalk with restaurants, aquarium, shops, etc.

Enjoyed an anniversary getaway! Great communication with host, room was very clean with plenty of towels, and everything in you need to enjoy a weekend or longer. Beautiful view of the beach, with a nice patio to enjoy the weather.

Overall we had a pretty nice stay. However, the floor was dirty. The stove didn’t work properly. Maintenance was replacing the carpet outside of our door. The main issue was the stove. We brought two kids with us and planned on cooking spaghetti one night. It took an hour to boil a pot of noodles. Would not recommend staying here if you plan on cooking. If you’re eating out the entire time, it won’t be an issue.

Great location just off the beach, with beach/ocean view off the 1st floor balcony. It was a little noisy (I’m guessing due to age of the building/thinner walls) even though it was off season.It was great to have the indoor water park (pools, lazy river, jacuzzis, and two slides) included in the rental price and provided some indoor fun during cool weather!Overall a nice, enjoyable stay! Thanks!

Our host, Janet, was the most responsive, cordial, and helpful person we've EVER dealt with while on ANY vacation. She contacted us before, during, and after our stay to make sure everything was great and that we were kept informed on every detail. When the main tv in the condo broke, she had maintenance buy us a new one and install it immediately! The place was very, very clean. The bed was comfortable. The onsite restaurant food was delicious. The indoor pool, jacuzzi, and waterpark was a warm way to spend an evening when the weather was unseasonably cold outside. We loved how the access to the parking garage was restricted to condo guests via a key card, so it was very secure. The condo itself had a lock that was opened with a long numeric code rather than a key, which was a nice feature.

The host was very kind and attentive. The room was relatively clean, although the floor needed a deeper cleaning. I vacuumed it myself to make it more comfortable for our stay. The hotel itself is excellent, especially the water park. It is absolutely worth it if you have children who enjoy spending hours in the pool.The only issue we had was with the kitchen in our room. The sink became clogged while I was washing dishes after making scrambled eggs in the morning. I contacted the host but did not receive a response, so I ended up washing the dishes in another sink. Other than that, our stay was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our time there.

Overall, our stay was very nice, and the property owner checked in to make sure we had everything we need. The property owner was very understanding when we accidentally broke a class making the bed. The room and pools were very clean. During the weekend days, there were many children running in and out of the hot tub, which resulted in it having a lot of sand and debris in it by the evening hours; however, the next day, it was cleaned up!

We had a great stay. The location was great. Felt very safe and the beach access was great. We came with our 1 yr old daughter and the pools, splash pads, and water slides were a big hit with her. She had so much fun with all of it. The room itself was clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back.

Enjoyed our stay. Janet was very prompt to answer questions. Room is a little out dated but nice. Couch was comfortable. Only real issue was the air conditioner. It did not cool the room very well, however brought a fan so it worked out. Would stay here again. Easy access to beach.

This was a great couple days at the beach. The check-in was very fast, the young lady who helped me was amazing. We loved the pools, the restaurants and the bars! Very family friendly. Every employee working in this property was polite, sweet and helpful. The condo itself was perfect. Everything we needed was there. Super clean, not a grain of sand in the place. Our balcony overlooked the pool. The beach access was very close making it easy to get to the beach. Would Definiteky stay again.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our time at Dunes. The resort amenities provided lots of entertainment for my family. The room itself was clean and met our needs well. The kitchenette was well equipped and even had a toaster. We had some issues with connectivity on the TV. However, we corresponded with Janet and she was very responsive. The two bathroom sinks were very helpful for us. If you will use the pull out couch, bring a blanket of comforter as only sheets were provided. Luckily, my kids travel with blankets anyway. Overall, this was a good value for the money and we would definitely consider returning.

AMAZING!

We had the most amazing experience staying in the condo. The pools and water play areas were very clean, the restaurant located just steps away was delish, and the short walk to the beach made our days so much easier with three kids. The condo itself had everything we needed and everything was very clean. We will hopefully be coming back next year!

First Family Trip

We brought our 1 year old on her first trip and this condo/resort did not disappoint! The water parks and splash pads were perfect on cloudy rainy days and the beach was beautiful and clean. The location of the condo is perfect. It’s close to the pool and beach and you don’t have to deal with elevators or many stairs!

Bringing granddaughter back home

My mother and I brought my granddaughter back home, she had been on spring break and we decided to take a mini vacation and visit with my daughter and her family for a few days. We booked the room for two days originally and we even packed everything up and went to breakfast, my mother said she wasn’t feeling well and didn’t think she could make the 6 hour trip home. I messaged Janet and she was able to accommodate us for another night. She was very informative and if you have any questions she is very prompt with the answers. We will definitely be reaching out to Janet again for help with our future stays. I highly recommend using her for your stays as well. You won’t be disappointed

Fantastic stay!

The unit, resort, and communication with Janet were all fantastic. We had a great meal at Captain's Cafe - even the frozen cheese sticks! It was wonderful renting privately but having full access to the resort's amenities (not always the case so always check!). There really isn't anything bad to say!!! Helpful notes: it is literally the 1st floor so no fighting for an elevator. The listing confirms it is not handicap accessible as it isn't notated so. However, we were unaware there were about 5 stairs to entrance (now read it in another review). The room is on the end right at the stairs so we parked the luggage cart/beach wagon/stroller at the edge of the stairs to load/unload. It was no problem for us but would have been for our senior citizen parents. There is a dining table for 2 with a 3rd chair at the counter outside the bathroom. The kitchen was stocked plenty for an efficiency. We found that an efficiency was a bit small to cook dinner every night, especially without a dishwasher. Bring extra dish towels as only one is provided. There is a poolside outdoor shower right under the balcony which was a blessing so we could wash off some at the beach access then completely before entering the room (yay for getting all the sand off the kids before getting into the bath!). The room is about 30 steps to Captain's Cafe and only about another 30 to the coffee cafe and lobby restrooms. This was great when our inroom bathroom was occupied
