Spacious 3 becroom Villa with private pool, patio and roof terrace.

  • Large Cretan style Villa with comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people (no sofa beds!!) in a quiet, private location yet close to all amenities with fantastic views out to the sea and also of the surrounding mountain side.
    Comprising of 1 double bedroom and 2 twin rooms (which can be turned into doubles), all of which have ample wardrobe and storage space and Air Conditioning. There are two bathrooms, one of which is the en suite to the main bedroom. The main living area and kitchen are open plan with high wooden ceilings giving the villa a spacious airy feel.
    The Villa also has a private 50m2 swimming pool with a large patio area and brick build BBQ. There is also a roof terrace.
    The nearest beach is 3km away in a lovely seaside village called Panormo.

This house is absolutely perfect. Nothing is missing, everything at the wright place when you need it. The house was very well prepared and who were welcomed by two warmly persons. The contact with the owner is very easy. So thank you to all. La maison est parfaite. Rien ne manque chaque chose à sa place. Quand vous en avez besoin. La maison a été très bien préparée et avons été accueillis par deux personnes très chaleureuses. Le contact avec le propriétaire est très facile. Alors merci à tous.

Just got home from a truley magical stay at Mountain View. A wonderful villa with everything you need for the whole family. Absolutely brilliant pool and gardens and large roof terrace with stunning views. Beautiful and well equipped villa in gorgeous location of Roumelli. The pool was fantastic and much bigger than expected. Helfried was on hand to offer advice on things to do and kept the pool and gardens exceptionally clean. Perfect location on the middle of the island to visit as much as possible. Definitely need a car for this villa as 10 mins from coast. Perfect for us and enjoyed evening BBQ’s and in Panorma. Highly recommend and thank you for aWonderful holiday

Lovely holiday away from it all

A lovely stay in a welcoming village but no more than 5min drive to the beach and bars. The village itself has a lovely restaurant and several bars if you wish to sample a 'real' experience. The villa was lovely and the pool amazing and much needed during this fortnight. We loved every minute and will return.

Exceeded expectations

We had the most wonderful time away. Helfried welcomed us and is such a kind hearted helpful man who made us feel welcome. The accommodation was clean, tidy and had great air conditioning. The pool is stunning and was very clean. The location is fantastic as it’s very quiet but only a couple of minutes drive to a friendly supermarket. Lots of lovely places to visit nearby and some great local produce at markets. This whole experience started before I got on the plane with great communication from the homeowner. Can’t wait to return!

Great location

Wonderful, spacious villa with everything we needed. Fantastic pool. A 'swimmer's'pool. It is deep but our young grandchildren loved it. Armbands essential! Ricky and Helfried were so friendly and helpful. Can only recall one issue which was promptly dealt with. Very quiet location but nearby town has restaurants and shops and a small beach with a shaded area.

Fantastic holiday!

Such a lovely little house for our family to use as a base. Ricky was so welcoming and helpful and supportive throughout our stay both by her and her husband and we felt that no question was too small to ask. Thanks to Helfried for rescuing me at the supermarket! We enjoyed popping to the beach in Panormo, which is a 5 minute drive from the house most days to enjoy the sea, cocktails and local cuisine. We always came back in the afternoon to enjoy the pool and cooling off at the house. All in all, a great place to relax, get some sun and enjoy some small towns which are not touristy (yet!)

Ein perfekter Urlaub...

Wir (Familie mit 3 Kindern) waren für 11 Tage in der Mountain View Villa. Jeder der es etwas ruhiger mag, wird es lieben. Die Villa ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet, inkl. Eiswürfelautomat. Das beste ist natürlich der Außenbereich mit dem Pool, der groß genug ist zum Schwimmen und Spielen. Das Meer ist in Sehweite. Im Dorf gibt es Taverne und Supermarkt. Der nächste Ort am Meer ist 2 Km entfernt, dort gibt es viele Restaurants und kleine Läden. Ansonsten ist man sehr zentral auf der Insel. Alles ist gut zu erreichen, Mietwagen vorausgesetzt. Vielen Dank und viele Grüße gehen raus an Helfried, der einem immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Für uns ein sehr perfekter Urlaub, dank dieser Unterkunft.

Unser Kreta-Urlaub

Wir haben 11 Tage in Roumeli im Haus Mountain View mit unserer 4-köpfigen Familie verbracht. Der Empfang durch die Verwalter war sehr nett, sie standen uns immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und haben sich um sämtliche Belange sofort gekümmert. Das Haus liegt in einer kleinen ruhigen Ortschaft mit direkten und sehr netten Nachbarn. Es bietet Platz für bis zu 6 Personen und ist gut ausgestattet. Leider steht kein SAT-TV zur Verfügung, lediglich ein Netflix-Account des Gastgebers kann genutzt werden. Die Internet-Rate war aufgrund technischer Schwierigkeiten seitens der griechischen Telefongesellschaft miserabel, so dass auch der mitgebrachte Fire-Stick nicht richtig funktioniert hat. Das Problem wurde aber seitens des Verwalters umgehend gemeldet - nur waren die Griechen nicht so schnell, so dass die Reparatur erst nach unserem Aufenthalt erfolgt. Die Außenanlage inkl. Pool sind sehr gemütlich. Das Haus bietet einen idealen Ausgangspunkt, wenn man die Insel mit dem Auto erkunden möchte - v.a. den westlichen Teil der Insel. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Uncomfortable Beds

RIkki was amazing, what a lovely helpful lady she is so helpful. They only two problems we had were that the beds had springs and clearly they are not that new so the springs were sticking up and with two of us with back problems they caused us a lot of pain. The house otherwise is amazing and the pool is excellent, the only slight problem is that if you wanted to get into the pool you had to shower off the sun protection even if it was waterproof so this was a bit of a hassle.I would recommend hiring a car as well as it is fairly remote. Also please bear un mind that you have to vacate the property at 10am which when you have a 7pm flight it is difficult, we put our luggage in the luggage room for a fee at the airport and got the bus from the airport to the town but Heraklion airport is badly organised and you cannot check your luggage in until 2 hours before you fly. I would recommend that the owner left a day between people vacating the property and the new travellers arriving the next day, this way we would get longer in the villa and RIkki would not have to be in such a rush to clean the villa make the beds up etc which would be better all around for the travellers and RIkki.

Je suis déçue par la piscine (peinture bleue qui colore vos pieds et mains en bleu si vous touchez les bords et le fond), eau trouble tendance verte, c’est inquiétant. La qualité des couchages est insuffisante pas confortable, ainsi que les draps bas de game et usagés +++. Ce n’est pas une maison où je retournerai. De plus nous avons été dérangés par un vendeur immobilier pour des visites d’acheteurs 3 fois. C’est très désagréable +++ Je me sentais vraiment plus tranquille dans cette maison . Je trouve la location trop chère par rapport à l’état des lits et de la piscine. J’ai déja eu mieux dans La région .

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohlgefühlt! Helfried und Ricky sind unglaublich nett, offen und gastfreundlich – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Lage ist ruhig und wunderschön, allerdings empfiehlt es sich, einen Mietwagen zu haben, um flexibel zu sein. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Pool – er ist außergewöhnlich schön und lädt jederzeit zum Entspannen ein.Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die einen entspannten Urlaub auf Kreta genießen möchten!

Die Villa liegt in Roumeli nur 5 Autominuten entfernt vom schönen Küstenort Panormos. Waschmaschine, Mikrowelle, Herd mit Backofen, Spülmaschine, Espressomaschine und viel Küchenhelfer - alles an Equipment da was man benötigt. Dann natürlich noch der schöne Pool mit Liegen und Sitzplätzen. Einfach einmalig. Zu guter Letzt wurden wir toll von Ricky und Halfried empfangen und auch später bei Fragen gut betreut. So hatten wir eine perfekte Woche mit der Familie Anfang Oktober auf Kreta. Danke dafür.

Wonderful stay.

We travelled by car from UK. After 4 days we arrived at the Villa. We were delighted. It was absolutely lovely in every way. The pool was fantastic. We were met by Ricky and Halfried who could not have taken greater care of us. Despite being only 5 mins from the little seaside resort of Panormo, the village of Roumeli retains its authentic atmosphere of daily life and we were made very welcome by its year round inhabitants. The villa itself was amazingly well equipped with everything one needed to spend a month on holiday there. The BBQ was great and we had some delightful meals with all my family who flew out to join us for a few days. Our glorious month flew by and we were so sad to leave. It was our second stay in a villa in Roumeli and we fully intend to return next year. The two local supermarkets are small but supply everything you need and the town of Perama,10 mins in land provided both interest and a wide selection of specialist shops. The lamb at the butchers and the baclava from the sweet pastry shop were beyond compare. There was nothing about this holiday that disappointed.

Fantastic villa

We had an absolutely amazing time at Mountain View Villa. It was our first time in Crete and we will definitely be back again! The villa was even better than we expected and was really clean & well equipped with everything we needed. The pool area was fab, bigger than some hotel pools we’ve stayed at in the past, and we loved sitting out on the roof terrace at night watching the sunsets. Kevin was so helpful and kind, even when we had issues with our initial flights being cancelled. And Ricky and her husband were lovely people and helpful too, and made us feel right at home when we arrived at the villa. We fell in love with Roumeli and Panormos close by…there’s some lovely restaurants in Panormos, Aldi was a short drive away and super handy, plus a little local shop 5mins walk away. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Very pleased we went

Very pleased we had 10 days in Kevin’s clean and comfortable house with its excellent pool which is roughly between 4 foot and 5 foot deep, with easy access via steps in one corner, and which was perfect for our 11-year-old and eight-year-old children to spend all day in and really get into their swimming! It was big enough for mum and dad to swim properly as well. The local beach at Panormos is a five minute drive away with lots of places to eat and good swimming. The quiet Cretan village that the house is in is not a lively tourist resort at all, which was perfect for us. The arrival and check out were very smooth and friendly. A relaxing family holiday.

Relaxing week

We had a very enjoyable week at Mountain View. It's a lovely villa with a great pool. It was difficult to find, particularly in the dark and you really need a car. The taverna is a short walk away and the views are spectacular and the food delicious. We have lots of fond memories of our week.

Sehr gute gelegene Villa in ruhiger Lage

Die Villa hat all unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Dieses objekt ist für bis zu zu 6 Personen bestens geeignet. Die Betreuung vor Ort wird durch ein Ehepaar in der Nähe sehr gut erledigt. Der kleine Ortt ist einfach wunderschön und alle sind sehr freundlich Danke Andreas und Petra Rolfes

Eine fantastische Villa

Diese Villa lässt keinen Wunsch offen. Sie ist komplett ausgestattet, hat einen schönen großen Pool, und der Empfang und Betreuung des Hausverwalterpaares war in jeder Hinsicht zuvorkommend und nett. Auch der Kontakt mit dem Hausbesitzers war im Vorfeld klasse und sehr hilfreich. Die Villa ist zwar etwas abgelegen in einem ländlichen, kleinen Dorf , aber man ist eh auf einen Leihwagen angewiesen und kann von dort die tolle Insel in alle Himmelsrichtungen erkunden. Wer also Ruhe und Abgelegenheit vom Tourismus sucht, kann es nicht besser antreffen. Abends hört man dort außer Ziegen, Hunde und Grillen absolut nichts . Wir kommen gerne wieder.... Schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage

Wir waren eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus mit einem großen und sauberen Pool, der jeden Morgen zum Schwimmen einlädt. Es ist alles so wie auf den Bildern angegeben und sehr sauber. Das Haus ist mit allem, was man braucht ausgestattet. Abends konnte man den Tag bei Sonnenuntergang auf der Dachterrasse ausklingen lassen. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits im Dorf und ist nur mit einem Auto zu erreichen. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Bei Fragen konnten wir uns jederzeit an Helfried und Ricky wenden, die sich um das Haus kümmern. Das Haus können wir ohne Zweifel jedem für einen Aufenthalt weiterempfehlen. Jederzeit wieder :)
