Dear Mr Aubert, First of all, thank you for taking the time to write your comment. We're sorry you had this opinion about our hotel the day (only 24 hours) you stayed, but we need to mention and remind you some facts you forgot to mention. First of all, when you made your reservation, you knew that the hotel is not located in the center of Mykonos but in the area of ​​Kalafatis (10 km from Mykonos), with the cleanest beach of Mykonos which is the only one awarded with a blue flag. Besides, both on the INTERNET and in the agency where you made your reservation, it is clearly written where Anemoessa is. If you really did not see it, we are sorry but it was your omission. So it was clear from the beginning that to visit the center of Mykonos, you need to either rent a vehicle or take the bus. You also forgot to mention that you arrived at our hotel at 9 in the morning and we provided free breakfast for all of you, as well as to enter the room at 10 in the morning instead of 15 at noon !!!! (5 hours earlier !!) You also forgot to mention that you did not want to take a taxi when you arrived (taxis asked for € 60 one way / just to take you to the hotel), and you called us to pick you up, after of course, we informed you and agreed that the transfer cost is a total of € 50 (for the 2 transfers / for your arrival and departure). The usual rate in Mykonos taxis is € 50-€80 per way !!! We are even more impressed by the fact that while you had booked a classic room, with the approval of the manager, we upgraded your room for free to a Superior room on the 1st floor as well as we had a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for you in your room also for free !!!! !! All this, in any other hotel you visited, would have cost much more than the cost of the 1 night you stayed !!!! Finally, we are impressed that you did not mention any of this in your departure, when you spoke with the Hotel Manager, who thanked him for the impeccable hospitality in Anemoessa. All we can assume in your review is , that it concerns another hotel and not Anemoessa, as the hotel has been recently renovated, there was not and there is no issue with smells and leaks. If you had any problem and you mentioned it, we would have solved it immediately !!! Indeed, the service of the hotel staff, the cleanliness, the observance of the health and safety protocols of Covid-19 , and the provision of the services that we provide to each customer, have left the best impressions, which is proved in the comments left by the other customers. Our hotel is a family business and our goal is for all customers to feel the Greek hospitality. The experienced staff is constantly next to each customer and in all the comments until today, all refer to the courtesy and service of each employee. Regarding the issue of distance, the office where you made your reservation should have informed you (even you should see it on internet) that our hotel is not in the center of Mykonos but in the area of ​​Kalafatis ( 10 klm ) , the only beach in Mykonos with blue flag (mark of clean beach). So you have to express your dissatisfaction to the office that you booked the reservation if they haven’t informed you. But usually, each person who has access to internet, should check it from internet and from our website that Anemoessa is placed in the area of ​​Kalafatis ( 10 klm ) , the only beach in Mykonos with blue flag (mark of clean beach). Regarding the food , please be so kind to review your comment because you and your lovely family never tasted our Chef’s menu because you called delivery to your room ( even you were kindly informed from the Manager that is not allowed ). Also, you forgot to mention that during your 3 days stay, we satisfied all your unreasonable demands ex. change your towels 5 times ( !!!! ) every day because you through them to the floor ( no environmental awareness !!!! ). Last but not least , you forgot to mention to your “reliable” comment that the hotel offered you for free the early check-in at 10:00 ( instead 15:00 am) , the free upgrade of your room and the free late check out at 16:00 ( instead 11:00 am ). Υou can probably realize that we treat and we behave as hospitable as we would in our family to each client, but we can not accept unfair comments for other faults. We were concerned and sorry to note that you were not quite satisfied with your stay. Allow us to inform and to make clear some things. Firstly your stay was on a Classic Double room from Tuesday 27/08. You arrived on Monday 26/08 late night ( 05:00 ) and a colleague allowed to enter your room free of charge because your flight arrived earlier. The next morning at the reception you informed us that the air condition was not working properly and the manager informed you that we will check and if there is a problem we will change your room. After that answer, at once you informed that there were many problems : -noise in your room ( not specific ) -the mattress was hard -the hotel was far away from the town -the outdoor pool was cold ( which wasn’t used yet ) The answers from the manager to all these were : -to change your room by having two options to upgrade on a Superior Room free of charge or to upgrade to a Junior Suite with the extra cost of € 50 (that you choose on your own will ) . -the mattresses are all the same type and we can put a substrate to be more soft but you denied -the location of the hotel is clear to all travel agents and on our website -we never informed any client or is written on our website that our pool was heated. Last but not least, the bathrooms have the traditional Myconian style and until today no complains or problems were noted from any client all these years. However, we do thank you for this feedback as we greatly value the reviews of our guests and do take this seriously.
