Great location, hard time with communication and didn't know they were selling the house.
We really enjoyed the proximity to our working location and it was a great house for us. Had minor issues, but they were fairly quick to fix the issue. The frustration came with the communication. On check in was confusing in that I received a message at booking, saying I would get info for check in. It then comes via email and not the messaging system. I couldn't find it, and my messages typically went unanswered until I found a direct number to the manager (not owner). There were multiple people we were talking to and although Lisa (rental manager) was by far the best, the owner at one point showed up to show the house to people while we were still in it. We actually had someone sleeping when they wanted to show the house. We had no notice. We understand there to be a mix up with communication between the owner and manager, and the owner was kind, but it felt frustrating to us and incredibly invasive. We were offered an apology, nothing more and just more or less a "is what it is." The location was great, the place worked well for us, but I felt like this was a violation of privacy without 24 hours notice and against rental rules. It would have been nice to be refunded or anything for the final days we experienced this.
