« It was a good spot to stay with my sisters for a weekend getaway. Family friendly neighborhood with walking trails and town nearby. However, it was very poorly stocked. No extra kitchen towels, bath towels, dish rags, bedding, cleaners or anything of that nature. Barely any extra toilet paper or garbage bags either. The kitchen was very sparsely stocked, very little furniture, no extra bathroom amenities or anything. It was kinda disappointing to not have ample stuff at the property. Would...

« The listing itself was fine, but the check-in process was a serious problem. Keys are held at a convenience store 10 minutes away — which would be workable, except the store's hours had changed and it was closed when I arrived late at night. The host had explicitly assured me keys would be available 24/7, so I had made no backup plan.I was left without access to the rental and had to find and pay for alternative accommodation at the last minute. The host was responsive over messages but...

14. Home In The Clouds | Downtown Retreat | Gym

Centre-ville de Kitchener

« This was our very first time booking on this type of platform so we were a little apprehensive of the unknown. We were looking for something close to downtown Kitchener because we were coming to attend the Blues Festival. The unit was exactly as stated and expected. The check in process for the key pickup was at a location about a 10 minute drive away which at first was a little concerning but went smoothly and again exactly as instructed. I would stay here again. »

« The overall experience was positive. Communication with the host was very good and responsive. The building and unit itself was clean and as presented on line. However, we had an ongoing issue of a noise complaint from the tenants below that was disproved by the condo corporation under an investigation that was concluded. As a single mother and her 12 year old child it was beyond frustrating. Great host, good apartment, difficult tenants. »

« From the moment we booked, Mike was a communicative, attentive host. The condo itself was clean, neat and very comfortable. The condo building and surrounding complex are modern, located on a quiet street, but with good access to groceries, shopping, public transit and the highway. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend Mike's place to anyone looking for a comfortable retreat in K-W. »
