Letti comodi

L'unica pecca di questo albergo è che non c'è l'ascensore. La camera era molto accogliente e il letto molto comodo. La colazione non era compresa nel prezzo della camera. Mi è piaciuta molto la marmellata di mele: ottima...quasi quasi tornerei là solo per mangiarne ancora. Ottimi anche i the. Gentile e cordiale il personale. Un po' fuori mano dal centro di Monaco.

Hotel Schleuse

This hotel is ok when you do not mind a very simple room without thrills. I had no problems sleeping despite a thin matraze without slatted frame. The hotel is on a little waterfall. Thus if you have problems sleeping with the sound of a waterfall, ask for a room on the opposite site. Their credit card reader is slow, so plan for some extra time at checkout. Friendly staff.

Anmerkungen: Zimmer in der Nähe Rezeption, dadurch Geräusche/Gespräche hörbar. Bad ist extrem klein !!!

Better without a car - There's no space for it

I am quite torn writing this. The hotel is in nice surroundings, clean and modern. The staff is polite and I had no trouble communicating in English as my German is a bit rusty. The problem was that I was on a road trip and with a car. The parking space is very limited and there certainly was even more demand for it as cars were constantly coming by to check, so that also the streets nearby were filled. I had to abandon my plans to go out town with a car once I finally had a spot (fearing dents and scrapes in the narrow space and constant trafic) for not to lose it because of early flight next morning. The hotel itself was ok, but I must admit that other hotels out of town on my trip were cheaper and better suited for a road trip stop.

Romantischer Flair

Leider stand auf unserem Kurztrip nur eine Übernachtung im Hotel Schleuse an. Gerne wären wir länger geblieben. Die ruhige Lage direkt an einem kleinen Fluss lädt am Morgen zu einem sonnigen Frühstück auf der hoteleigenen Terrasse ein. Wenn unter den Brettern das Wasser des Mühlbaches vorbeiströmt, kommt echtes Urlaubsfeeling auf. Möglich wird diese Romantik im Grünen, durch einen etwas weiteren Weg bis in die Münchener Innenstadt. Bei funktionierender Verbindung ist man aber mit Bus und S-Bahn in ca. 35min am Marienplatz. Auch zu späterer Stunde geht die Verbindung in Ordnung. Zum Hotel und Zimmer: Sehr sauber, gute moderne Ausstattung und empfehlenswertes Frühstück. Lediglich die Wände sind etwas hellhörig. Zu Beachten: Kein Aufzug, aber maximal drei Stockwerke.

gute Lage

Das Hotel hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage, nicht weit zur Autobahn und doch sehr ruhig. Zimmer sehr sauber, aber leider etwas hellhörig. Reichhaltiges Frühstück bei super tollem Ambiente.

Gepflegtes, sauberes Hotel

Suberes Hotel kleine Hotel von privat. Das Hotel gibt sich sehr viel Mühe was der Gast spürt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Wasserschlläuse. Wen das Geräusch von Wasser stört schließt die sehr guten Fenster und das angenehme rauschen der Schläuse ist verstummt. Das Angebotene Frühstuck habe ich nicht gebucht jedoch konnte ich bein Check out ein Blick auf das Bufett werfen welches wirklich einladend aussah.

Location

This a small typical German guesthouse, it's only problem is it is out of the way. I lived in Germany for a number of years and speak German, so understanding the Munich mass transit system was ok with me. If a traveling by car from direction Augsburg this hotel is very convenient. One can leave the car at the hotel, have the personnel explain the bus, S-bahn 2, connections to get downtown. The hotel is recently remodeled and has a nice Indian restaurant on the ground floor. There's a nice balcony overlooking a mill run water course where one can sit and drink a beer. I would only recommend this hotel for people who are backpacking and speak German. You have to understand the excellent Munich mass transit system to enjoy this hotel.

Great hotel, but beware rooms on the 1st floor

This was a great hotel, at a great price. Rooms were well equipped, was spacious and seemed recently renovated. I'd have given this top marks, but for the noise bleed-through from the breakfast area. On the day we were there, an ill-mannered customer let loose babies and toddlers, who were clearly in high spirits and making a massive amount of noise, which woke me at 07:30 as well as many other guests. This guest with here baby was still having breakfast 2 hours later. That was the only negative to an other wise great stay. Close by bus route 160 which links to the S-Bahn at Passing.

Great little hotel!

I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer pleasantness of my stay. I booked a single room which came with a small single bed but the room was well designed and I didnt feel constricted at all. The bathroom was a tad small but it worked well enough and it came with a really powerful shower. If I had to point out something that I would have liked changed is the location of my room. It was right next to the entrance and the reception said they were fully booked and could not give me another room. I could hear guests coming up the stairs as well as guests having their breakfast in the adjacent room. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay and I loved how the dining room was built over the creek that ran behind the hotel. The staff were very helpful and super friendly (Ive stayed at other hotels in Munich and believe me, it´s almost a rarity to be greeted by genuinely nice people in Bavaria!!) so kudos to them! I´d definitely stay at Schleuse again.

We loved this place! It is cute and secluded. The restaurant down the street is awesome as well! We highly recommend this hotel!

Nice place to stay with parking. Poor internet

Had a nice stay here for 1 night before driving to the airport to fly out. We had our hire car so was great to have the free parking but the internet was terrible in our room. Probably the range of the wifi, I had to setup in reception to send emails home and make other hotel reservations. Staff were friendly, and good english. We picked up food from the indian restaurant next door which was nice. Would consider staying here again but if you intend on basing yourself here for a few days, and internet is important to you, might give it a miss. Location was best suited for accessing the airport, not sure how good it would be as a base for visiting Munich itself.

Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!!!

Eine 3 bei Service, weil man keine Infos über Hotel, Zimmer, Umgebung erhalten hat (z. B. gibt es im Hotel WLAN aber den Zugangscode hat man uns nicht ohne Aufforderung verraten). Nicht weiter schlimm. Desweiteren waren die vorhandenen PKW-Parkplätze alle belegt. Eine 3 bei Zimmerkomfort, weil es kein Telefon im Zimmer gibt. Sonst alles Perfekt. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!!!

Jederzeit wieder

Trotz der Nähe zur Autobahn A8 liegt das Hotel sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend.

Der Service war super und die Zimmer sind neu. Auch die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist hochwertig, wenn auch nicht unbedingt luxurioes.
