Extra disappointed in the food based on how it was advertised. We enjoyed our stay but it could have been so much better with just a little better service, food quality, and management. »
« The location and the view were very good. Overall, the property was beautiful. However the hotel itself was sub par. Check in took very long, some of the rooms were not ready so some people in our party waited over 2 hours. No seats were provided and you just stood in a long line. No compensation was offered for the delay. The rooms were ok, but nothing in the fridge nor a bottle of water. « The best part of this hotel was definitely the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We loved hearing the spooky ghost stories and lore!
That said, we felt the property itself could really use some TLC. The first room we were given was definitely not up to the standard we would expect for the price. It was tiny, cramped, and had no furniture for storage of our belongings. There was a desk and one large chair, which we ended up using just to hold our things....
