« After booking, Donna called me to confirm my stay and ask my arrival time. I appreciated it. It was a cold day with a temperature dropping to below 30 degrees. Taking bath in the big bathtub kept me warm all night even without heater. The heater was noisy when operating. Thus, it was good I took a warm bath and shut off the heater. »

« Clean and well maintained. Central heat and AC not reliable. Room temperature varies. Use your ear plugs because of noisey highway. Trees behind the lodge need cutting to prevent roof noise. Microwave and mid-sized refrigerator in room. Cable TV worked great. The bed was comfortable. No extras except soap and towels provided. Low price lodging, not luxury. »

« I've stayed at lots of Hamptons and this is one of the best. Every time I came through the front door, someone was cleaning something. I got the sense that this one is family owned based on the staffing and the attentive customer service. It's a new hotel which is always nice, and you can see their thoughtful selections, like the outlet in the bathroom that includes a nite light. « The hotel filled the need of a brief stop for sleep. The breakfast room had an odor that was not pleasant. The breakfast wasn’t very tasty and the coffee tasted water down. The room was adequate. »
