« Beautiful, spacious, historic renovated schoolhouse, well appointed furnishings. Giant great room off the back and out to an expansive green which is NOT fenced enough to let your pet run loose, which they say in write up (our dog loved the great room to play in). A few things: If the weather is inclement, the firewood on the property along the fence will be wet. We arrived in rain and had sun the next two days but wood was wet, and could not locate any bagged firewood in Rhinebeck, so could not...

« We were looking for a quiet getaway and found it! The house is updated, immaculate and fully appointed. It is well laid out with very comfortable furniture. There is a deck with a forest and a pond in the backyard, and a short walk through the forest to a creek. Very peaceful, with things to do in the area. »

« One of the cleanest rentals I have ever stayed at! So very quiet and great views. Loved listening to all the birds sing outside. Check in/out was easy and the host left a book of things to do and attractions. Lots of little pluses like soap, condiments, multiple coffee makers, and puzzles! « This is a lovely cottage that's perfectly situated between the town of Woodstock and the Overlook Mountain trail. Wonderful ambiance, great mattress, generously-appointed kitchen. Only caveat is that the ceilings are quite low in some spots — especially the kitchen entrance and the upstairs loft-style bedroom. Bumped my head a few times when I forgot to duck! »

« Everything was as described, instructions to the house were precise and the facility was exactly what we 2 couples) needed for a weekend of strolls in Woodstock and trails around. We cooked 2 dinners, kitchen and BBQ were great. »
