« The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. We would definitely stay...

« The Springhouse was as described. When we arrived, we were personally met and directed to the cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We felt right at home in the quiet farm setting. »

« Really cute place! The kitchen is well-equipped, the king-sized bed is very comfy, and the hot tub on the deck was sparkling clean and SO relaxing. Lovely view of the surrounding mountains, and the location is halfway between two of the Shenandoah National Park entrance stations, so it's very convenient. One note: based on the size of the shower and the tightly-spaced upstairs bathroom, this would not be a good choice for tall visitors! »

« Our family was in town for a wedding and chose this home because the hosts allowed bigger dogs and the property had a fenced yard. We were impressed with how well they have kept up this old farmhouse. The bedrooms and closets were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. »

« We had a nice stay at this home, it suited our group well. The layout is good for multiple sets of couples and I liked the access to resort amenities and access to restaurants and local activities. The house is located on a side road in the resort so low traffic and quiet area, good for a relaxing time. »

« The house was spectacular. Beautifully renovated and rich in history in a perfect location. Spent two nights while visiting JMU for family weekend. It was perfect and we hope to return soon. »

« I cannot recommend this stay enough! Trisha and her family were such welcoming hosts (including their two beautiful English Mastiffs). I’ve never experienced such an accommodating stay - small food AND drinks were provided along with an adorable array of homemade jams, soaps, etc for purchase. The stay felt like it was straight out of a movie. Beautiful views, quaint decor, and 10/10 hospitality made for a truly memorable stay. »
