« Absolutely loved our stay here. Views couldn’t have been better (perfect weather helped) and it slept 12 of us comfortably. Plenty of seating for around the fire and inside for all of us as well. The paddle boards and kayaks are a great addition to any rental and provided a lot of fun during our stay. Kitchen stocked with basic essentials was very helping with meal planning. « Went to a wedding with my girlfriend. The venue was very near. Also, the Cottage was so cozy and beautiful. Easy to access, the owners came by and checked in if we needed anything. The place is so cute. There are small businesses around the area to enjoy. I know I was there for a wedding but after this stay, we want to return and stay longer for vacation. Suppose you're looking for a place to stay for the lake. »

« We had a nice stay at the cottage - it was cute and comfortable. Due to a rainy week, we didn't get to enjoy the beach or fire pit until our last day, but what nice little perks. We never figured out the beach pass situation, though. We went to the HOA office but they were closed. There is no laundry onsite despite the listing saying there is. While there are a lot of amenities included, especially for dog parents (which we aren't), there are no cooking items like oils, spices, etc. Most houses...

« Beautiful time. Perfect for a small family. Very clean and had lots of pits annd pans for cooking. (And grill) Enjoyed kayaking, fishing, floating in the clean clear water. The water entrance has some rocks so water shoes for people who may be sensitive , but we didn’t mind ! We loved everything about this place and want to book again !! »

« Loved this little cottage! It was so convenient and close to everything! The only complaint my fiancée and I had was that the bed could use a little updating. Kind of felt like sleeping on a cot. Nothing fancy but just what we needed for a weekend away! Would stay here again! »

« The Cozy Cottage nestled in the heart of Alton Bay, NH was just what my family of four needed for an extended holiday weekend getaway. My favorite keepsake from staying at Rich’s Cozy Cottage was most definitely the spectacular view and the live music heard from across the Bay while I relaxed on the comfy blue chairs in the large breezeway! We even brought our pugs and our 22 ft boat. Next time I hope to be able to reserve a dock, but the ramp is literally a five minute walk away. »

« Awesome place for a getaway. The cottage is fully stocked and has everything you could need. The hot tub is especially nice and is in tip top shape. Loved being in the hot tub and watching the stars. Enjoyed the fire pit! Barbequed on the grill and ate dinner on the porch .porch. Kitchen was easy to cook ineverything. »

« Karen and John were amazing hosts! The house was just perfect for our little family and small dog. We were greeted with fun activity books, sidewalk chalk and bubbles for my daughter… a bottle of wine, fire wood, fixings for s’mores and even a new toy for my dog! They were attentive, available when we needed them and so very kind to me and my family. The kayaks and water toys kept my daughter entertained for hours. We were able to bring our boat and had our own dock space for the entire time...
