"When we got to the hotel we immediately noticed it didn't have much quality standards, but still we decided to stay, especially because it was late. When we got to our room, it felt way too small, but again that wasn't a problem. However, there was a light blinking every 2 seconds for the whole night, which is something that can be quite disturbing when someone is trying to sleep, which was my case.
Still, we decided to stay for the night, although i was thinking of maybe changing the hotel.
The next day the breakfast was very poor, but that was expected: it was a cheap hotel. However, in the afternoon the hotel started doing a space renovation for the entry lobby (which also served as a breakfast room), with at least 3 men working there with all the mess that comes with it and also on the 1st floor for conservation works (they should have closed the hotel to do that kind of works) and we decided to leave immediately. I know the value wasnt refundable, but still i expect some kind of compensation for this experience, because i had to pay for another hotel and the Experience was very bad. I dont think hotels.com should work with such a hotel and i booked through hotels.com as i thought this kind of thing wouldnt happen. I am expecting an answerr from hotels.com.
