« Another great stay at The Royal Oak pub only this time in one of the chalets. Great that There was a fridge & microwave ans I used both ! Sonia & Ian are a lovely couple and it was great to see them again . They have themed nights at the pub and I hope to be going back soon to sample 👌 »

« We have had an amazing weekend in the Barebones cabin. We took our 11 year old and 1 year old and both of them loved it. There was so much to explore, a little playground and a rope swing which kept both of them happy, not to mention some muddy puddles near the stream for plodding about in wellies. The views of the lake from the front of the cabin were beautiful - each of the 6 cabins are angled so that they feel private but each have a gorgeous view. The photos of the interior of the cabin...

« Beautiful and peaceful location. Everything you could think of needing was there. Lovely hot shower! Very comfortable bed. My children loved the play area and rope swing. »

« Interactions with the owners was easy and we gots lots of information, both before and when we there there. It's a gorgeous, tranquil spot, very central for exploring Hadrian's Wall. The pod was clean with everything you might need, and very comfortable beds. We loved the little outdoor area with fire pit too.
