A spectacular barn conversion - Highgate

Highgate is a beautiful refurbished barn that has been transformed into a blissful Cotswold holiday home which sleeps four guests (no children aged seven or under permitted), in two delightful bedrooms, with two bathrooms. This fabulous boutique retreat boasts an elegantly styled open plan living space, original oak beams, log burner, courtyard garden and unique layout, with separate staircases to the two bedrooms. If that wasn't enough, it is only a stone's throw from the attractive town centre of Moreton-in-Marsh.

Highgate can be booked either on its own, or with The Puzzle House which sleeps four guests in the adjacent property.

This two bedroom holiday cottage in Moreton-in-Marsh is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

Cozy New Years

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our family of four get away. Located right in the middle of town, and easy to access. It was super clean and had everything we needed. Our favourite was to cozy up to the wood fireplace at night. A dream stay. Felt like home.

This is one of the best designed, most comfortable, immaculately presented rental properties we've had the pleasure to rent in the UK. Lovely weekend with friends

Fabulous 2-night stay at Highgate. Highgate is spacious, characterful, super clean and super well-equipped. We loved it. Moreton-in-Marsh is a great base for walks and has plenty of great coffee shops, places to eat and pubs.

This cottage was the highlight of our 3 ½ week trip around the UK. So nice to spread out, do some laundry, and open some windows! Excellent central location, close to train station/tour pickups, and it felt very secure and quiet tucked away in the back of the main street.

Highgate is a wonderful property in the centre of Moreton In Marsh. The space is open plan and beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable and both the bathrooms spacious with great showers.

Place was awesome!

This cottage was very nice, looked newly renovated all the while keeping a lot of charm. Both bedrooms are nicely separated with their own set of stairs for privacy, as well as each having their own full bathroom. Location was great, very easy walk from the train station, less than 5mins. As close as it is to a main road and train station, the cottage is very quiet and private. We had a very enjoyable stay!

Exceeded expectations for first time "Cotswolders"

Could not have asked for a better experience being our first time to the Cotswolds. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities one would need. Location was great, place was clean, and the fireplace and games made for nice relaxation time when we weren't out exploring. Instructions were clear and Helen was great to deal with!

Perfect property!

We had a fantastic stay at Highgate! The property is beautiful - everything has been finished to a high standard and it’s definitely one of the best properties I’ve stayed in. The beds were comfy, the house spotless and the off-street parking was ideal. It’s centrally located yet you don’t hear any noise from the town as it’s set back a little. We enjoyed a meal at Bellini in Moreton and had a lovely pub lunch at The Great Western Arms in Blockley which we walked to from the cottage via Batsford - so many lambs! Thanks for a wonderful stay, we’d love to come back soon!

Lovely Cotswold Cottage

We had an enjoyable winter week in the Highgate cottage Moreton.. It was clean and very well equipped with everything we could want . All kitchen utensils were like new, very comfortable beds , lovely bathrooms and seating with rugs for extra comfort. The log burner was also great during the cold spell while there. Location is excellent, a gated property just off the town centre. Would thorough recommend it.

Beautiful, clean property in the Cotswolds

This was an easy 5 star location. I see many marginal, frankly questionable properties rated at 4 or more on VRBO and other listing sites, but this is a solid, no question 5 star property. It is a converted historic Cotswold barn, with charming character coupled with all modern flooring, furniture, fixtures, plumbing, appliances and on. The manager is very helpful. As my wife said, it felt like home the moment we walked in. Great location just minutes from the train station with easy access to London and bus lines. Highly recommended

Highgate on Morten in Marsh Highstreet

Lovely holiday cottage / barn conversion. Loads of space inside and the added bonus of off street parking. We stayed Monday to Friday and really enjoyed our stay. Highgate had everything we needed and more. Bathrooms located next to both bedrooms meaning it’s suitable for 2 couples and still plenty of privacy (although there was only 2 of us, we didn’t use the back suite). Location wise, right off the high street and walking distance to lots of lovely coffee shops and eatery’s. The parking was a great added bonus, tight access, but we managed okay with our small SUV (Volvo XC40). Thanks for a brilliant stay, will definitely be back!
