« Wonderful experience. »

« The staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room we received was very comfortable and clean. Parking was available near the hotel. »

« Very nice surprise with the location at the bottom of Roseberry Toppin , didn’t know about this until we arrived . The hotel is a treat to stay there. We were going to a friends house in Whitby and travelling from west of Scotland. Hence it was good to stop off , we visited Stokesley near bye and loved the English village life . We will stop here again and the cost was worth it. »

« Restaurant pub authentique »

« The room had everything we needed, but a microwave would have been a bonus. There was a little kitchenette area with a kettle and a fridge and breakfast items for a continental type breakfast. Some of the cereal packets were out of date and the cereal bowls had dried cereal stuck to them. There was a table and four chairs and a settee and a TV in the room. »

« We had a one night stop here in October. The room had been redecorated reasonably recently, the bathroom also looked very modern, all very clean. A new mattress wouldn't go amiss though. The staff were very friendly and helpful, for our evening meal we had a pizza, which was ok, it was tasty and very filling. We didn't have breakfast so cant comment. The absolute best thing about this hotel is sitting outside the front having a drink and admiring a stunning view! That alone would bring us...

« While we liked the theme of the pub, and the staff were friendly, the stay was let down by a poor nights sleep due to very thin walls and chatter in the pub past 11pm (despite the pub closing at 10). I did complain, and the noise did stop after some time, but it took a significant amount of time to get to sleep even after that. The pillows were also not to our preference, being extremely soft, but we didn’t raise this with staff (as we only stayed one night) so we don’t know if there were any...

« Lovely stay in newly renovated en-suite room - freshly cooked excellent breakfast. Delicious reasonably priced food. Comfy bed, quiet, warm. Beautiful village and you’re right in the centre here. »

« What a suprise , I don’t think the this hotel was advertised well enough, a beautiful property in large well maintained grounds, friendly , polite staff, good breakfast and so clean, nowhere was overlooked, I will recommend and definitely come again. »

« We stayed for two nights in the Marrakesh suite and loved it. A huge comfy bed, air conditioning, mini fridge, lots of storage and a large TV. Upstairs is a large jacuzzi bathroom complete with bathrobes and slippers. The host, Debbie was fantastic, she always seemed to be on duty and was very helpful. Breakfast was very good with a huge selection and could be taken in the dining room or in your suite. »
