This is a beautifully secluded converted barn, located just one km from the village of Monticiano. The house is quietly located at the end of 250 metres of dirt road. It is very private completely and surrounded by a lovely garden.
This is comfortable updated house for groups of up to six people. Large windows and French doors provide lots of natural light and the rooms are very spacious.
This lovely ground floor cottage has been lovingly restored and retains their authentic charm with wooden beams and terracotta floors. The furnishings of the bright rooms are an harmonious blend of antiques and modern.
Outside a covered furnished terrace provides excellent opportunities for al fresco dining and is where the guests will enjoy congregating in harmony with the surrounding countryside. In the terrace there is a stone-built barbecue and a pizza oven.
An oval swimming pool (11x 5,50 mts - deep 1,10/1,70 mts; seasonal opening) with salt water and with Jacuzzi tub with a seat heating up to 34 degrees, lies below the terrace. By the pool, there is a small bar corner with stereo music available.
Outside the grounds are some delightful walks through the lush green landscape. In the garden it's possible to meet the two cats belonging to the owners. Upon your arrival, the owners will be glad to offer you a welcome aperitif by the pool
There are very pleasant views through the trees reaching San Galgano Abbey on a clear day.
The village of Monticiano with restaurants, bar, supermarket, and several other shops is just 1 km away. The town of Siena is 35 kms away.
