Very secure neighborhood. Very small outdoor space for pet or kids. Really only sleeps 4 comfortly. Bring you own ice. Maker is completely covered in mold.

The kitchen was clean and nicely equipped and the bed and bath was clean and comforting. But the location was difficult to find and access to the back yard for the dog was unusual and challenging. And the carpets were very pet stained.

There is considerable dog damage in the living area: trim, sofa, blinds, a blanket, and door rug. One set of towels, no bathtub stopper, dirty shower curtain and liner, mold on the shower tile. The pipes in the ceiling had burst and not all repairs were finished. Front storm door does not latch and the gutters on the kitchen side had pulled away from the house. Both banged. The iron had wood glue on it, and the heat sensor burnt a dopp kit I was finishing. The dishwasher's filter was disgustingly fithy which I cleaned, so it would wash dishes. It took me several days scrubbing the kitchen upper cabinets, counter top, stove top and walls between top and bottom cabinets. I had to wash all everyday dishes and the barely existing flatware. We had to purchase our own juice and water glasses, another set of towels, an iron, (no ironing board), and a shower liner. The sofas were uncomfortable and one was unusable. No tables around the livingroom. Comfortable beds, nice master closet and bedroom, and the use of a garage. We do not have dogs. Madison was easy ti deal with, but did not bring anotger set if towels or a bathtub stopper. She did have a diswasher repairman out to assist with unlocking the settings. I was very grateful.

Host responded quickly to requests and was very nice. Guests names were ready at the gate, and when my unique door code didn't work, they immediately gave another code that worked. However, it left us wondering if the previous renter would be able to enter. The house is very cute with great decorations and the kitchen was well supplied. The bedrooms and bathrooms have been updated and theres plenty of closet space. TVs and wifi worked.The garage is a nice plus and the yard grass and flowers were wonderful. Seemed good for the price. But the listing is a little unclear with two bathrooms. There was one tub and one shower. Us 6 adults didn't want to take a bath so we all shared the shower. We were unsure of the cleaning because one room appeared unvacuumed, there were dirty towels in the washer, only 1/2 cap detergent left to wash them with, mold on the britta pitcher, dirty silverware in the drawer, a broken angel was hidden in the corner, and the sofa bed had crumbs in it. Extras seemed a little cheap... one ply toilet paper, thin sheets that slipped off the mattresses, thin blankets, the quilt for the sofa bed had holes in it, blinds in the kitchen were broken and would've been easy and cheap to replace, and a bulb was missing in a lamp. Overall, we enjoyed our time, but we wouldn't stay there again.

Great location and area for a vrbo. It worked out perfect for my in-laws and great grandmother who came in from out of town. The home was a bit on the dated side but it worked for a good safe place to stay each night.

The home and neighborhood are lovely. We were very comfortable. Only negative issues were check-in and initial state of home. We didn’t get the full access info until our arrival three hours after house should have been available for check-in. Also, the cleaning staff hadn’t been there to get the property ready for our arrival. However, both of these problems were speedily dealt with by the manager. After that, all good!!

3-day Lake Conroe stay

Very poor experience with this property for several reasons:- The host (which is a property management company, not the owner) failed to provide our check-in info to the guard house for the neighborhood creating a 30 minute delay in getting through security to check in- The house is "pet friendly" with stains all over the carpet- The a/c unit is a digital thermostat programmed to "sleep" after 2 hours of run time with a pre-set temp of 75 degrees...so enjoy coming home to a warm house and getting up every 2 hours in the night to adjust the thermostat to a reasonable sleeping temperature- The dryer does not work. It tumbles but with no heat. Guess the heating element is out- The neighborhood is very tight w/ houses built on top of each other with limited yard space...you can sit on the back porch and clearly listen to any outdoor conversations from the closest 4-6 houses...and they can listen to your's- One close neighbor has dogs that really enjoy barking- The last issue is really my fault, but I was extremely disappointed in the lack of effort by the host to resolve. The house is marked on the listing with no boat parking or access to the neighborhood. I missed that when I made reservations. I was in town for a fishing tournament. The host made no effort to ask the HOA for an exception (I had friends in the same situation that were granted exceptions). Nor did the host offer any suggestions other than to contact a local marina. I ended up finding off-site storage.

Very Nice Home in Private Secure Community

The house was just as described with the addition of a garage so you can park securely though its not advertised, it was was available and greatly appreciated. The home was perfect for my wife and I. The owner has paid a lot of attention to details that made our stay better than expected. I would recommend this home for anyone wanting to stay in the area.
