Apartment 3 - Ghiberti, Lorenzo Ghiberti (1378 - 1455)
The apartment is named toLorenzo Ghiberti (1378-1455) Italian sculptor and artist.

One bedroom apartment situated on the 1st floor of the main structure of the 800 year old ex monastery.
The accommodation has its own private entrance leading from a shared balcony, where you can sit and enjoy morning coffee or a glass of our local wine in the afternoon and cherish the great views of our Tuscan landscape of forests, olive trees and the country side.
The entrance leads directly into a dining area with kitchen, the latter made of dark pine wood with a simple, rustic and attractive Tuscan Country Style décor, furnished with a wooden table, 4 chairs and a working open fireplace at the end of the room that adds to the atmosphere in the cooler spring and fall season evenings.
From the dining area and open plan kitchen is a wooden stairway that leads up to the lounge. One of the main features of this apartment is the lounge. Situated on the wooden mezzanine due to the high typical terracotta and wood beamed ceiling looking down into the kitchen, furnished with a sofa set, coffee table, satellite television and WIFI.
The lounge boasts wonderful views of the Valdichiana valley with lakes and Umbria in the distance.

On the same floor as the open plan kitchen and dining area is the bathroom consisting of a closed off shower, toilet, bidet and sink.
Next to the bathroom is the bedroom, furnished with one double bed fitted with an orthopaedic mattress and typical rustic Tuscan wooden bedroom furniture.
The view from the bedroom and bathroom is the same as the lounger situated on the mezzanine, of the Valdichiana Valley, Lake Trasimeno and Umbria.
For the comfort of all our guests, our bedroom and bathroom linen is made of the finest cotton and Italian fabrics.

The garden furnished with chairs, tables and sun beds is a quick short flight of stairs directly down from the apartment.

The apartments have been restored in one of the most ancient monasteries in Montepulciano, Siena, and they are the ideal home for relaxing weekends or holidays, amongst the famous green rolling Tuscan hills, close to Pienza, Montalcino and Siena.

The apartments are all completely unique and different one from the other regarding dimension, style and set up. The accomodations have been designed with maximum attention to details with all the comforts required to spend an unforgettable memorable holiday amongst the green Tuscan hills.

The rates are in Euros and do not include central heating. This is to be paid separately on a consumption basis.

All the apartments of Sant’ Antonio are self catering and are fully furnished with linen, towels etc and all kitchen utensils.
Linen is changed twice a week, on your arrival and mid week.
