« Molokai is pretty laid back and not highly developed from a tourist standpoint, which is what we were looking for. The condo, which in its pictures looked a bit dated, definitely was when we got there. So no surprise. But we were disappointed a bit by what we encountered. Several missing or not working light bulbs. A ceiling fan in the bedroom that was either on or off, the chain control for how fast is turned wasn't working. « Charmaine, the manager for Castle Resorts, was prompt in her responses and very accommodating throughout our stay at Molokai Shores. The unit needed some deep cleaning and upgrades, and some minor repairs. »

« This condo was clean, with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Molokai Shores is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The pool was very clean.The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because there weren't any pool towels or beach amenities provided (chairs, cooler, etc). We were able to purchase some towels at the drug store in town. Would stay here again. »

« The Sunrise Cottage is well laid out with beautiful views. Well stocked with the basics and kitchen wares. Your privacy is respected also. I highly recommend the ranch tour when you first get there to get you oriented to this beautiful 14000 acre ranch. My wife and I hiked over 40 miles of the trails in 5 days and did not complete them all. Beautiful special place with spectacular views everywhere. The host is very informative, pleasant, excellent communication, and take care of your needs. »

« We had a dreamy stay at Pu'u O Hoku Ranch! We really enjoyed slowing down and enjoying each other's company in a beautiful setting. Coming from the hustle and bustle of Oahu, it was exactly what we were looking for. We spent countless hours hanging out by the lodge pool and soaking up the old Hawai'i vibe. « We enjoyed out stay in Molokai, and the Molokai Shores property was quite lovely. The unit itself was quite dated, but it was fine for our needs and our last-minute booking. Our only concerns were that the one bathroom area was very tight for a family of four ( including two teenage girls), plus the non-smoking rule (must be 20 feet from the property) was not enforced. We had a neighbour who would light up his cigars on his lanai several times a day, and the smoke would come into our unit. We...

« Molokai Shores is a great place to stay on Molokai, and I've stayed there a handful of times. However, this unit seemed like it had been neglected. The floors were very dirty, the chair upholstery was visibly dirty, and the kitchen cupboards had German roaches. The unit is close to the parking lot and office, but isn't one with a view, which was ok. I think with a very thorough cleaning and perhaps some updating, the unit could be more inviting. However, suited my needs for a quick work trip. »
