Experience riverfront living in this charming 4BR/2BA home, just 20 minutes from downtown Mobile, the heart of Mardi Gras! Nestled in a tranquil cul-de-sac, our well-equipped home offers the perfect blend of comfort and relaxation. Enjoy the refreshing river breeze or cozy up around the fire pit in the evenings. We provide professional photos and real-time images from our cleaning team, so you’ll know exactly what to expect. Plus, enjoy free WiFi, and pets are welcome for an additional fee.

The Space:
As you walk from the driveway up to the main entrance.
Main Entrance: Has a digital lock, punch in the 4 digit code then the key lock icon button and then the door will open.
Once in the house to the Left:
Will take you to a six seater dining room table
Once in the house to far Left:
Will take you to Bedroom#1: which has 2 Full beds, 1 end table, 1 usb lamp, 1 chair, 1 closet, 2 luggage racks.
Once in the house to the Right will take you to the Hallway:
From the Hallway:
To your Left:
Bedroom#2 which has 1 Twin bed, 1 chair, 1 end table, 1 usb lamp, 1 luggage rack.
To the 1st Right:
You have Bathroom#1 which is a full bathroom with a shower/tub.
Straight Ahead will take you to the Master Bedroom:
Which has 1 King bed, 3 end tables, 3 usb lamps, this is also the location of bathroom#2 which is a full bathroom with a shower only. The walk-in closet for the master bedroom is located in the bathroom and also has 2 luggage racks.
From the main entrance Straight Ahead will take you to the Kitchen:
Which has a gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, blender, and all items you will need to make a great home cooked meal. To the left will be a 4 seater kitchen table. Also there are 3 stools at the bar for your convenience.
From the Kitchen to the 1st Right:
Will take you to the washer/dryer.
From the Kitchen to the 2nd Right:
Will be Bedroom#4 which has 1 Queen Bed, 2 end tables, 2 usb lamps, 1 chair, 2 luggage racks, 1 closet.
From the Kitchen Straight Ahead:
Will take you to the Living Room which has 1 50 inch Roku TV, 1 coffee table, 1 futon, 1 Queen sleeper sofa, 2 accent chairs, 3 end tables, 4 lamps.
Straight Ahead from the living room will take you to the rear of the house:
Which has an outdoor 4 seater table, bbq grill, outdoor swing, and dock.
Unique Amenities/Observations:
Washer & Dryer, BBQ Grill, Outdoor 4 seater table and chairs, and a lake.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the home and yard, which includes a fenced area and dock.

The Neighborhood:
We are excited to be hosting you at our home located on Dog River Ct in Mobile AL. This area was hit hard in the last hurricane. Our community on the water has fully rebuilt and is vibrant again. Unfortunately the inland area between the interstate and the water has not been rebuilt. Many of the structures were condemned, others have been torn down. This inland corridor from the interstate to the water looks rough, but it is not a safety concern as it is largely abandoned. It's just unsightly. Driving to the home, you may question why you booked the house. Once you arrive in our actual neighborhood, though, you will love it. We hope you will stay, but want to allow you to cancel now and receive a refund if you choose to do so. Of course, if you have other questions, feel free to ask.

Getting Around:
Parking is available at the home, driving is recommended due to the residential area of this home, but Uber and Lyft are also available.

We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 21 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
This home has a fenced yard, making lake living enjoyable for kids and pets alike! There is a grill along with a four seater patio table and fire pit for guests to enjoy the outside.

We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

Interaction with Guests:
We want to provide our guests with maximum privacy and flexibility, so we have check-in and check-out automated. We will call and touch base on the phone, and we can always have someone come and help if you need it, but otherwise, we will leave you and your friends and family to spend time together.

The house itself was nice. They had everything needed for a family to enjoy a weekend together. I was disappointed that the dock couldn't be used and I wasn't notified ahead of time. The grass needed to be cut out front. The neighborhood is oyt of the owners control but we weren't bothered. Overall it was a good stay. My family and i enjoyed out time together!

The good: House is very spacious, enough bedrooms and enough sitting area. Backyard view is pretty. Inside of the house looked clean, tastefully decorated. Enough dishes, towels. Beds were very comfortable. The bad: outside of the house was dirty, trash on the driveway and side yard. Trash bins were full and smelly. Yard not mowed. The ugly: rundown neighborhood. Street dogs are running everywhere. Train passes by the window all night long. People walking with gun in hand.

This listing is not anything like it was portrayed in the pictures on VRBO. This property is located in a neighborhood that was very run down and unsafe. There were two homes nearby that had Beware of Dog signs on them. This is a listing that should have never been allowed to be listed on VRBO as a vacation property. We did not feel safe at all in this home. It was run down. The photos on VRBO weren't accurate of the property. The dishwasher was broken. The floors were dirty. The carpet in the bedrooms was unravelling. The outside of the home was very run down as well. Beware this is not an accurate portrayal of a vacation property.

Great house. Not the best neighbor hood but but was very quit. Amazing owners very attentive to your needs and questions. 30 min ride to great beaches great for bigger groups. Would stay again.
