Apartment features private bathroom, bedroom and kitchen.Kitchen provides refrigerator, stove and kitchenware.Living room leads to the gorgeous balcony.Apartment also features A/C, Wifi and hairdryer.Mljet is greenest island in Croatia and we do hope that you'll have chance to explore trekking and walking paths, and rich underworld in lakes and out of them.For exploring the island, it's the best to rent a bicycles, scooters or BRUM car so you can see other parts of Island, except just National Park.Maybe you'll be interested to visit magnificentLimuni beach or Odisej cave near Babino polje.Nearest restaurant, such as grocery store is only 3 minutes walking distance from the property.Guests have access to free private parking and private entrance with few stairs.There's no washing machine in the apartment but in agreement with host on site they can provide washing service for you.     Pomena, on the island of Mljet, is a gateway to Mljet National Park, known for its stunning natural beauty. Explore the park’s peaceful saltwater lakes, Veliko and Malo Jezero, or take a boat ride to the ancient Benedictine monastery on St. Mary’s Island. Enjoy hiking or cycling through lush forests, or swim and kayak in crystal-clear waters. The tranquil harbor is perfect for relaxing, and you can savor fresh local seafood while watching unforgettable sunsets over the Adriatic Sea.The main places are Pomena, Polače, and Sobra and in those places, you may find supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants, travel agencies, souvenir shops, etc...Island is regularly connected with Dubrovnik with a ferry from Dubrovnik or Korčula as well as a car ferry connection with Pelješac Peninsula on the Croatian mainland.Being located just over 15 minutes walk to Malo Jezero (Small Lake) of Mljet National Park, the village Pomenais the main entry point to the Park. Nowadays it has its hotel, a couple of restaurants and coffee bars, grocery and souvenir shops, agencies etc… As a bay, is a very safe place for anchorage, being sheltered by a tiny island of Pomestak, which acts as a local naturist beach too.Pomena is also a port where one will arrive if you take a day trip to Mljet by fast ferry from Korcula, Hvar, Split, Brac, or Dubrovnik

This Airbnb is a great choice for a couple of nights in Mljet if you're wanting to explore the national park. It's really well located in Pomena and near all the activities. The hosting was amazing and we were given some great recommendations for our stay.

This was a perfect home base for us for our time on Mljet! Pavo was super responsive & came to help us immediately when we couldn’t figure out how to make the shower work correctly. Beautiful views of Pomena & the sea.

A beautiful apartment to stay in a magical place.

The apt is perfectly located in town with a beautiful view from the balcony. It's nice to watch the boats come and go and there are a number of nearby restaurants. It is also a great location to explore the national park, which is wonderful. It is not a long walk to the small lake in the park, or you can rent bikes to explore farther. If you are staying in town, your park ticket can cover more than one day for the same price. The hosts were very kind and allowed us to check in early when the ferry arrived and also offered a luggage storage space to use after check out.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was wonderful and so was our host. He suggested to take us to the supermarket in Polace because the supermarket in Pomena was closed. He was always helpful and upbeat. Would definitely return!

Jelena and Pavo were wonderful hosts. Great communicators and perfect place for your stay in Pomena. The only drawback was the wifi only worked in one corner of the apartment (and even then not very well). However, we didn't travel to the seaside to use the wifi, so we never asked Pavo to fix it - maybe he could have! Thanks a lot for everything!

Beautiful, modern apartment with ocean and sunset views!

Our unit at Lorena Apartments was perfect! Very modern inside and lovely ocean view balcony that we enjoyed in daytime and evenings. The building superintendent, Pavo, was welcoming and so helpful! We were so grateful that he took the time to tell us ahead of time there were no markets open and to bring our own groceries. We also appreciated the well stocked kitchen with olive oil, balsamic, coffee and even pasta - so great! Very close walk from the ferry... shortcut along the water (Pavo also helped to clarify not to use the google map default instructions), and he kindly let us store our bags safely after check out until our departing ferry was leaving late that afternoon.The local restaurants Pavo recommended were perfect for dinners watching the sunset. Bring cash as several restaurants did not accept cards or their card machine wasn't working because internet was spotty in Pomena. We also loved our visits to Mljet National Park... a quick walk from town. Thanks for a great stay!

High-end vacation!

Since Jelena is not the owner, I did not receive adequate information about the place in advance, despite the fact that I drew her attention to the fact that I was looking for a quiet place. I was very disappointed, this town is the most visited by tourists on the island. Three smaller apartments crammed on one floor, if the neighbor is noisy, it is difficult to relax. There was no mosquito net in the bedroom so it was stuffy at night. I can't sleep with air conditioning on. Otherwise, everything is very nice and clean.

Major-league holiday!

The apartment is located close to the port, so it is easy to get to it upon arrival (we came from Hvar on a ferry). We were met by the host who showed us around and provided advice for time on the island. All in all, we liked our stay and recommend the place for anyone coming to Mjlet to enjoy national parks. One thing to note (not about the apartment or host but island is general). If you want/plan to see central and east parts of the island, you will either need to be in very good shape for long bicycle rides or need to rent a car. Luckily, 2M auto offers car delivery and pickup in Pomena for a reasonable fee, which we found very convenient. This is not a promotion, just something one may find useful.
