« My husband and I liked the easy access to the beach (under 5 minutes from our room). We are both in our 60’s, so not having to walk a long distance (carrying chairs, dog, etc) to get to the beach was important to us.
Also, many thanks for allowing dogs to stay in your motel! This was a plus for us in making a reservation with you!
The staff was friendly and helpful too, so thank you! »

« We've been coming to Southport to visit family for 20 years and the Carriage House has always intrigued us but we've never stayed until now. It was absolutely wonderful. Amy was very friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities were amazing. I travel a lot and spend 30-45 days a year in hotels and this was one of my best experiences. I just wished we had more time to just stay at the Carriage House and enjoy it more, but we spent most of our time visiting family. »

« This was such a wonderful stay. The Beach House is so convenient to everything and just a walk across the street to the beach and pier. The Lazy Turtle is a perfect spot as well for a quick bite to eat or a delicious drink. The staff was so kind and helpful. We forgot our beach chairs and they have rentals that were incredibly reasonable so we could enjoy the day. They even loved on our sweet pup as well. We will definitely be back »
