Family retreat, two minute walk to the beach, and pet friendly!

Perfectly, imperfect family getaway. If you are looking to reconnect with your family, this is the place for you. Weldon's Seadog offers a full sized, fenced yard, screened-in swimming pool, and spacious parking. Swimming pool can be heated for an additional weekly rate of $700 or daily rate of $100 from October 1st to May 1st. Request must be made at time of booking. Dining room comfortably seats 8 guests! Lanai offers beautiful view of the pool, four chair and table patio set, and two chaise lounges. Two minute walk to the private, gated access beach! Fenced in yard for dogs and kids! Dog friendly property for non-aggressive adult dogs each under 50 lb. Owners must bring crate. All pets must be up to date on vaccines. Pet fee is nonrefundable $300.

Location of this house was excellent...walking distance to beach, easily accessible to many restaurants, yet private and quiet. The pool was an excellent amenity for our granddaughter and the screened in patio allowed us to sit outside in the evenings without all of the bugs, etc. While the house is somewhat dated, it was clean and had plenty of character. Really enjo6ed our stay! Thanks!!!

This was in such a great location, just a short walk to the beach. It was so nice to have 2 chairs and an umbrella set up everyday. The pool was just lovely when we had rough waters at the beach. The house was spacious and comfortable. The back patio was a favorite and a great place to read a book. Thank you for making our first trip to the Miramar Beach/Destin area amazing. Truly blessed to have the opportunity to visit.

Spent four days with three generations of family (and our 2 year old pup) members and we had a wonderful time in this older but still welcoming property. Great location and the property manager was very responsive. On the second day, we had a minor issue with one of the restrooms and within 15 minutes, some one was there to fix it.

Excellent stay. Excellent location. Fully fenced huge yard. Private heated pool. Clean house with tons of room. Loved having 2 chairs and an umbrella included at the private beach. It was absolutely perfect for my husband and I and our 2 dogs.

Lovely beach home with a beautiful fenced-in yard, private pool with spacious lanai, and plenty of parking. Inside, the home is tastefully decorated with comfortable living room and bedrooms, along with a fully stocked kitchen. It's a short walk to the beach. Shopping and restaurants are close by. We enjoyed our time spent here and highly recommend this VRBO!

What a lovely house located within walking distance to the beach. The 2 beach chairs and umbrella that come with the rental that gets set up everyday at the beach was wonderful for people who do not want to carry these items to the beach everyday.This house has one of the biggest fenced in yards that we saw in this area. Our dog loved being able to go outside and walk on grass that was not hot on her feet. The house was spacious for our party of 8 that stayed. The pool at the house was a great added feature were we could cool off after the beach. We will definitely be staying here if we come to Mirmar/Destin area again.

House was real nice , couldn't clean it cause (no broom , vacuum) ,drain in pool area was green and moldy & didn't drain well, toilet in the mail part of house back up , was flushing slow but we didn't think anything of it till it , and then it started backing up. Then the hot water turned off three days before leaving(we had no Hot water For showers) . So we had to left early 7 we did end up leaving cause of it . I think we should get a one day refund if you ask me.

This property was amazing! It was very close to the beach, so close that you could go to the beach in the morning and go back for lunch. I highly recommend this property! Everything that you need was in the house. It was a fantastic evening when you could go back and relax around the pool!

I came to Miramar along with many of my family members. We rented seven houses. Our house was the best house to gather. The saltwater pool was very spacious. The yard was huge and we had plenty of parking spaces.

Location, Location, Location!!! It was a short walk to the beach, convenience store, ice cream shop, coffee shop and a few restaurants. By car everything that you need is just minutes away. When we arrived access to Weldon's Seadog was easy and thank goodness for the pool. Except for one rain delay day the rest of the week was double Red Flag Days (boo hoo) beach OK but no swimming. The house was wonderful, big and roomy enough beds for all eight of us. Kitchen was well stocked. Dining room was large enough for us all. Did I mention the POOL! life saver and it was screened in as well. On the pool patio there was a patio set with sofa and chairs not as pictured, but I think it was better. The yard was big enough for the kids to run around. The grill was adequate cooked burgers and dogs. We did contact the owner about a broom and had a Maintenace man get us one. Overall, our stay at Weldon's SeaDog home was very enjoyable and we would like to come back again. See ya'll soon

House was well equipped, very homey like going to my great aunt’s vacation home in Key Biscayne when I was a child. The screened in porch was awesome, super spacious (just 2 + baby). Walk to the beach was super quick and we loved that it came with 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. Kitchen was very equipped. Only slept on 1 bed the entire time and it was a very firm mattress. Art, the landscaper was super nice, had a wealth of knowledge and really good to talk to, I believe he is a captain for charter fishing and if I had more time, would have booked and enjoyed having further conversations with him. Communication with owner was excellent, very quick too. The downsides, it wasn’t the most ideal location for us personally. We are more familiar with sea grove/watercolor area so it was about 30 minute drive for dinner every night to our normal romps like Cafe 30A/Perfect Pig/Shunk Gulley/Watercolor Town Center, but it is close it Ben and Jerry’s and on the cusp of Destin so if that is your gig, then you’d love the location. The appliances are modern but some of the furniture isn’t, there is carpeting in bed rooms. Definitely some minor touch things that are cosmetic that make it seem more dated but it didn’t bother us. Restroom situation would be kind of wonky if you traveled with multiple couples. Overall we had a great time, saved this place and plan to return next time we are in the area if the stars align. Great space for a quick family getaway with 6 adults and 1 child. Has 4 bedrooms but only 1 bathroom in main bedroom and 1 other to share, luckily our room was close to the outside bathroom so we made it work, though it gets muggy in July but not the fault of the owners. Private pool is great and we enjoyed it often. Access to beach was easy and we were provided with two chairs & an umbrella so my mom was comfortable. Inside house was clean and had pretty much everything we needed.

A nice place that’s a tad outdated most of the house was clean but the room I stayed in had a stained bed spread and a little blood on the bathroom sink. The pool was great and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs.

Older home in good shape. Nice pool. My fault for not fully reading VRBO description. 2 baths inside. I outside at pool NO A/C 4th bathroom is actually a outside pool shower NO toilet. We would stay again just wasn't prepared. Owner had quick response when needed.
