The interior of the unit is appointed very nice. The bathrooms and kitchen have been updated, and the unit was very clean, and equipped well (kitchen, beach items, etc.) This was our second year spending the winter months (10 weeks) in this unit, and the living room furniture is already broken down and stained. One big downside is there was no lounge chair (as in the past) on the balcony, and the smell of natural gas from the pool heater is so strong on certain days that you cannot sit on the balcony, or have the patio doors open. The response of on site Glass Casa Management to issues we raised was poor. We had issues with getting our parking pass, and once that was resolved (by us, and at our expense) we had to contact the office personnel 3 times to get reimbursed. Upon our arrival we immediately contacted the office on 1/2/23 about the lack of a layout lounge chair on our balcony, which had been there the year before. We were told that they would contact the owner and see if one could be gotten. We were there until 3/10/23 and still did not get a response to our inquiry, even after speaking to three different people, Heather, Marty, and Jason. We received different answers from each person both verbally and via text, and it was never resolved. Because of the difficulty of dealing with staff, and lack of response to our issues/requests, plus much higher rental costs than other similar units, we regrettably chose to rent with another agency in 2024. We have been customers of Destin Palms, and then Glass Casa for 7 years but could not justify the premium cost that were knew we were paying, coupled with the lack of response from their on site personnel.
