We loved this condo and the entire Mansail Property. Very nice and great location. We’ve been coming to the gulf for many years and this was one of our favorite stays. The only complaint we have from our week is one of our good chairs was stolen outside our room on the 8th floor. Although it states there is 24 hour surveillance, when I called the Mansail office, they told me there is not cameras on the floors. Bummer, we thought it would be ok to leave outside the door since everyone else around us were doing it, but lesson learned.

Review

The apartment is very clean, but it was disappointing. At first look it looks very nice. It is a lot smaller than it appears on the website and it is quite outdated. There are several outlets that do not work as well as the small appliances in the kitchen (toaster, broken microwave handle). There are not enough mugs for coffee and we found the bed in the second bedroom extremely uncomfortable. The furniture is old an outdated. The headboards are loose and wobbly and the drawer in the room are all broken and off the tracks. There were plenty of clean towels, pillows, and blankets. The building outside is dirty as is the pool. Our apartment was very nicely located right in front of the elevator, which is nice and convenient. People were smoking by all the elevators.

Unexpected experience

During our stay, we encountered several issues that affected our overall enjoyment. Firstly, the cleanliness of the condo was not up to standard. We noticed sand on the floor, stains on the pillows and furniture, and there was a leak from the primary restroom sink. These conditions were unsanitary and concerning, especially considering the check-in time was 4 pm, indicating that the condo should have been in a clean and well-maintained state. Additionally, we faced difficulties with the customer service. Despite making two calls, we were unable to reach the condo owner, which left us feeling unsupported and frustrated during our stay. The only redeeming aspect of this condo was the beautiful view from the balcony. However, the overall experience was marred by the cleanliness issues and lack of responsive customer service. I wanted to bring these matters to your attention in the hope that you can address them and improve the experience for future guests. We believe that addressing these issues promptly will enhance the reputation and desirability of your condominium. Thank you for taking the time to consider our feedback.

Loved the view

It was great. The lights need working bulbs in some places. There was no extra blankets as review stated. I didn’t need them but other guest might. And the master bathrooms sink doesn’t drain very well. But the view was great and the overall condo was great.

Not Clean!

The best thing about this unit is that the beds were comfortable. The cleanliness needs to be addressed as well as the items in the kitchen. There needs to be a non-stick pan to cook eggs in and there is no spatula. Since there is a cleaning fee, which I would assume all guests pay, then the unit should be very clean. Here are some housekeeping notes: A/C return vent - filthy Hair on the floor around the leg of the cabinet by the slider Dirty under the beds By the side of the washing machine, was a pair of ladies underwear and an empty package of soap. Obviously, this area was not cleaned! The dishwasher is not secured to the cabinet, therefore, tries to fall forward when open. It would be helpful to have some kind of booklet with instructions on what to do when guests depart (most rentals have this).
