« It's a wonderful place to bring the family. Especially if you have never been camping with children. There is the camper and also more space for tents if you want more space. To get to the river there is a cleared path that opens to a place to camp as well! You get the disconnection we all need with the ability to go to Moose Lake, Duluth and even better we found a place to stay when we visit family. Highly recommend family get away, alone or couple. « The camper was nice and comfortable. The Island had a good breeze, so the mosquitos were almost non-existent, and the trees are tall and plentiful for shade and a good resting place for a bald eagle one morning we were there. We rented the owners fishing boat and it was very nice for checking out the the different islands and bays. Owner was very accommodating for making sure we had everything we needed and supplied multiple containers of gas and even ice in his own coolers, so we didn't have to...

« Most excellent! I was in Duluth for a couple of days skiing and I don't like staying in motels. I was by myself and I enjoy the adventure. It got down below 0F at night and i had to add a couple of pieces of wood to the stove in the middle of the night to stay cozy. The bed had about a foot thick down blanket that was more than enough. Staying in a yurt is like camping, you have to boil water to sponge bath and for doing dishes. The outhouse was a short walk but what a design and well...
