« Staff was very nice and there is free breakfast. I can tell hotel has been slightly updated. Vending machines only take cash. Overall cleanliness isn’t horrible but it could be cleaner in the rooms - coffee machine was molded and not sure if bedding was washed prior to getting the room. TV was great, AC/heating worked great and didn’t smell. Had no noise issues either. Would def stay again. »

« A wonderful place to feel at home away from home. Excellent hot breakfast with fruit salad and friendly conversation. A beautifully renovated large old country home in the middle of a rural village. Definitely will be back. »

« We ended up staying last minute after our other reservation turned out poorly. The evening desk reception woman was very welcoming and we were able to get the suite we wanted. Loved that breakfast was till 10 am on Sat and Sunday. Also, a 12pm check out was wonderful so we didnt feel rushed in the morning. »

« The only issue we had was the door lock batteries died and luckily my wife was still in the room to let me in. They put new ones in but we had to.let him in to change them on the inside of the door. So what if we were both out of the room, how was anyone getting in to change them? »

« Everything was great and the service was excellent. Hotel was clean and it's in a great location. The only critique was the indoor pool is either not heated, the heater wasn't working, or it was off. The main reason we booked here was to go to Oglebay (20 minute drive) then swim with the kids. The pool temperature made it difficult but we still dealt with it. Just a suggestion to turn it up or get it fixed. Would still stay here again! »
