We had a wonderful trip to this cabin with a group of 6 adults and 6 children. Overall, it’s a beautiful home with incredible views! We were a bit surprised to learn that the bunk bed room was detached from the main house. With 6 kids, we had planned to put them in those beds but with the room being detached from the main house, it wasn’t realistic for our younger children to sleep over there so far from us. We were also surprised to learn that the game room wasn’t heated. It’s a closed in garage with a pool table and ping pong table. In the winter, this room is quite cold! The room above the garage is the bunk room and it has a small mini split heater that works extremely well for the upstairs living area. It works so well that it actually was a bit too warm for us. While the home was decently clean, it was missing bath mats in the bathrooms. The cold stone floors were beautiful but chilly after a warm shower! We also had to wash towels constantly so the washer and dryer were very helpful but it would have been nice to have enough towels for the 12 people that the home claims to sleep. The kids loved the hot tub! It was clean and overlooked the mountains! The towel situation was challenging here as well! There is no ice maker but a bag of ice was provided so that was helpful! The oven was a bit finicky and would shut off mid-cook but could be re-ignited by turning it off and back on again. Lastly, the pilot light was not lit on the main fireplace so we weren’t able to use.
