« Well first of all there was nothing to dislike. Mill cottage is a very quiet place wonderful for a few days away from town. A true rural environment with everything that you wish for in the way of provisions. The resident cat called kitten is very friendly. We took our dog with us and eventually two of them got on well together! Thanks to the host Amanda this was a wonderful stay. »

« L’hôtel est très bien placé: la plage et the costal Walk a côté. Un nouveau supermarché au coin. L’appartement est grand et tres fonctionnel. Quartier calme. Dommage que il y avait personne à la réception à notre arrivée. Mais tous c’est très vite arrangé après un coup de fil. »

« Not the best weather but the accommodation made it even more enjoyable. Cosy inside and lovely outlook. Very quiet, birdsong and animal sounds. Just the place I needed. Owner was very friendly and offered lots of suggestions on things to do and where to go. Thank you for a wonderful stay. »

« An Absolutely Wonderful Stay!We had the most fantastic stay here! The property was even better than the photos, spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring New Plymouth. What truly made it special, though, was the host's hospitality and ability to connect with so easily. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning. Highly, highly recommend! »

« This is a beautiful property to spend a few days in and I recommend it to anyone visiting the region. You also get a lovely view of Mt Taranaki from the kitchen window (weather permitting) which is so lovely. As other reviews have said, this property is luxurious and one of the cleanest accomodations I have stayed in. Wendy is an attentive host but allows space and privacy to enjoy your stay. We plan to come back again :) »

« A great affordable holiday for our family of 6. Evan is a friendly host. We particularly enjoyed the walk through the bush around the little lake. Inside the house, the fire is warm, the shower is a good pressure and we had all we needed. It does get cold overnight though so keep the fire going. My only issue would be the squeaky red bunks - one needs tightening up as it’s a bit wobbly. Other than that, thanks for the memories! »
