« I couldn't contact the host or find Malaya House but it was on Google maps in an area with a maze of footpaths and other resorts. Then I recognized the 2nd floor verandah from a photo in Wotif. I met the cleaners there by chance who gave me the key and I never saw anyone else again. It's near the entrance to the Panorama Boutique hotel & Beach Club. « We recently stayed here in Coron and it did not disappoint. The host was very welcoming and great with his communication and even would check on us to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. I had all the basic necessities we needed and what I enjoyed the most is how peaceful it is in the area. The town can get crowded so coming back to a place with peace and quiet is a perfect way to wind down. I highly recommend this place to anyone that visits Coron. Thanks for the...

« The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens. There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised. Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. »
