    Important to Note: This home does not allow pets. The gas fireplace is operable from September to May. The waterfall feature runs on a limited schedule from May to November and is shut off and winterized from December to April. Satellite Wi-Fi may be limited, especially in inclement weather. While 4WD is not required, a high-clearance vehicle is strongly recommended due to the gravel road access.

Very nice property, great place for us to use as a base camp to go to the pisgah forest or into town for shopping. We’d love to stay there again if we head back to the area.

Great secluded location with easy access to Mills River area. 20 min from Brevard, 20 min from Hendersonville, 25 min from every mountain bike and hiking trail of your dreams!Fire pit area was great. House was cozy and comfortable and perfect for our 2 adult 2 kid family with room to spare.

Great Weekend Away

The house is located on a lovely property with a great view. The feeling is very private and secluded but stores and other conveniences are just a few minutes away. The front porch and back deck are lovely for sitting together. Overall, a great property and experience!

Nice modern home.

We enjoyed our stay. Saw plenty of deer in the yard and had a relaxing stay. Mattresses are on the soft side.

Property was above expectations! Spotlessly clean, comfortable for family of five, and stylishly furnished. The fire pit was a great place for the family to enjoy making smores after a day on the river. I would highly recommend this property to others.

We love this house. It is our return trip from last year and we had a blast. The location is ideal, close to Brevard snd Hendersonville, hiking and waterfalls.

Amazing home

Had a great few days away from the kids with my husband. Excellent location between Asheville and Brevard. Super clean and just an amazing home. Saw lots of deer and wildlife. Would love to go back!

very cozy, super quiet, I would definitely come back, you just need to be more careful with cleaning as there was a lot of dust and dirt on the floor ☺️ other than that it's very good☺️

Great mountain getaway!

Fantastic place to stay, newly renovated home on a quiet country road. Loved all the amenities the house had to offer and it was hard to beat waking up to all the deer roaming around the front yard every morning! Never been to the Asheville area before, we had a blast hiking, mountain biking and sampling all the great breweries and food trucks, all within about 20 to 30 min of this place. Already planning out trip back, would definitely choose this property again.

Wonderful week

My two sons and I stayed for a week at this wonderful house. Very clean and nicely decorated. Very quiet. The check in and out procedures were fast and easy and any concerns are quickly addressed Very centrally located 20 minutes to everything. We had a wonderful time!

Lovely

The property is very beautiful and even better in person. I loved the landscaping and outdoor seating areas. This home is easy to get to (on a gravel path but not too steep) and close to a grocery store. Inside the house is comfortable and cozy. We especially liked that there was a smart TV in every room and we enjoyed using the gas logs.

Spring break get-away

This house was just what we were looking for! The property and surroundings are beautiful, quiet and private yet close to groceries, gas and restaurants. The house was comfortable and everything we needed for 4 adults and 2 kids. I’m sure the house and property can be enjoyed even more when the weather is warmer. Mills River was the perfect in-between location for everything we wanted to do in Asheville and Brevard.

Awful, Uncomfortable, Sleepless Nights - Greybeard is TERRIBLE

Locked out of the home. Standing in the freezing cold because they suddenly changed the code. I've been paying for this place for a week now. Ridiculous!!!! Also, the home wasn't clean when we arrived, very lazy job done. The bed was the most uncomfortable mattress ever, it seriously injuired both of our backs. Also, absolutely terrible customer service - they all have the worst attitudes. Disappointed with this whole experience.

We arrived to our VRBO. The home had no power. No support provided by management company 😳

We arrived. The location is not ideal one lane dirt road. With neighbors that are living in campers. The home had no power. We were not offered any support to help make the stay more comfortable. We just received a text stating the power company had been called and the power will be on soon. The power came on at 3:00 a.m. we had been to the store to buy groceries and needed to return to town to buy ice and candles. I prefer a homeowner VRBO that is in it to share there property and provide a nice experience. I do not ever get this feeling from a management company. The home had 4 - 8 oz glasses, no toilet paper the fireplace was very loud and we had to turn it off since the noise was annoying. A 10:00 a.m. check out is challenging when they want the dishes and beds stripped. I have never slept in bed with no fitted bottom sheet and the closet in the bunk room had pillows and blankets in a heaping pile in the closet. The driveway had a big bump that every time we drove over it- it felt like our car would bottom out. So if you like a family feeling to a home this is not it. This is a home that is being rented to make $$$

Excellent property

My family and I had an amazing stay at Falling Waters! The property was clean, spacious, welcoming, decorated beautifully, we could not have asked for a better stay. Without a doubt we would rent again! The location is perfect, very secluded yet only 10 mins from grocery stores and restaurants. Mills River is a beautiful area to stay . Thank you for a wonderful addition to our vacation!!

Great stay--wary of nearby gunfire

Property was very well maintained. Good location. However, please note that immediate neighbors have a firing range on their property. So, that definitely takes away from the tranquility of the setting. If the sound of nearby gunfire concerns you, I would recommend another property.

Well appointed, well designed!

Arrived before and stayed during a snow storm. Wouldn't have minded staying another day if the driveway couldn't be cleared, but the driveway was cleared by a distant neighbor. This place is well designed with high end quality appliances and attention to detail. Very clean and well designed. Better in person. Could use some closet space in the master bedroom. Gorgeous and relaxing during the snow storm mid January/2022. Didn't lose power during the 12 inches but lost internet. Enjoyed our time here and will be back!
