« We had a wonderful time and everything was as expected, if not better. They left us some basic milk, eggs, butter and homemade bread that we really appreciated. The home was very clean and peaceful with nice little click-clacks of the amish buggies going by every once in a while. We will definitely be going back! « First, the place is represented well as described and pictured. Great kitchen and sleeping arrangements, plenty of room. Communication with the property management company was inconsistant. Here are the issues stand out. First, the Google Maps link sent from the company directed us to the wrong place and had to ask those owners where the VRBO place was. Second, as others have said, wifi is spotty and slow inside the house. Third, we had requested early on to have some additional firewood...

« This property is perfect for young families with children because the church house is a large open space with games to entertain the children. It’s on a quiet road & easy to find. The bathroom is large enough to accommodate a cast iron tub that looks inviting to soak yourself & a shower…The facility has several forms of heat & a heat pump to provide AC. « We stayed here for Bucknell Parent's Weekend with our three younger children and one friend (ages 9-17). The home is spacious and clean and is located directly across from the main campground hall and office. It is between a 15-20 minute drive to Bucknell - on local roads. The house has the basics, including linens, which was a nice bonus for a short weekend stay. The owner/manager was communicative and helpful. »
