STEPS AWAY FROM LAUREL BEACH. Across the street, you will have access to the beach. Whole house, 2 Stories. 3 bed rooms and a bathroom on the second floor. Dining area, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry area on the first floor. Fire pit on the back deck. Completely renovated. Self check in. There is a Ring security camera outside of the house for security purposes. YOU WILL LOVE IT HERE.

This house was recently completely renovated in 2020. 2 stories, the first floor consists of an open layout from the living room to the dining area. The kitchen to the left of the dining area. Laundry set up is right next to the back entrance leading to the back patio and yard. There is a bathroom on each floor. The second floor is where the three bedrooms are. 70” Smart TV, WiFi allows access to Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, and etc. TV stand has a built in gas fireplace. Real Italian leather couch. On the deck in the back, enjoy the propane fire pit.

Guests have access to the whole house and back yard.

Steps away from the Ocean. Enjoy a morning jog with the ocean view and beautiful houses surrounding the area. A few minute walk to the beach area. Nearby ice cream shop and close to restaurants.

Perfect area for bike riding. Uber and Lyft are very popular. About 4 miles from the Milford train station.

Please keep in mind there is 1 parking space available for parking in the driveway.
Parking:
1 car fits in the driveway
On street parking is for Milford residents only, please be mindful of that if anyone parks in the front on street.

Fire pit :
To turn the fire pit on, open the cabinet to access the propane tank and turn the knob to the left. Then ignite using the knob outside of the fire pit and you can control the level of fire requested there. When you are finished using the fire pit, please turn it off and turn the propane knob to the right to shut off as well. Please keep the cover on while not using it.

Garbage/Recycling:
Garbage bin and recycling bin are on the left side of the house. For long term stays, please take the garbage out on Sunday nights and bring the bins back on Monday morning.

Low-end, Bare-bones, No Frills Option

**Overall lowest experience of all vacation rental experiences** Pros: - Out-of-season pricing (in-season is total rip-off), - Relatively clean - Safe community - Comfortable beds - Decent bathrooms - Good AC (except for noise - see below) Cons: - Front & Rear door locks both beeped and auto unlocked at the same time at midnight on the last night - Cheap shades in bedrooms didn't fully cover windows - Under-furnished. Despite red flags in reading reviews & owner responses on there not being enough silverware/dishware or towels, I trusted that the owner response stating they would address these issues were sincere. While there were 6 very cheap towels (think 1970s Holiday Inn towels), having only 5 forks and spoons along w/ a minimally supplied kitchen was quite annoying and disappointing. - Furniture & furnishings, cheapest of cheap and very uncomfortable. - No storage in bedrooms (except cheap hanger rack) - Wi-Fi went out every 10-15 min all week & only 1 bar on Verizon - AC Compressor vibration noise: The entire rear half of the house vibrates & makes a maddening noise that sounds like deep bass coming out of a subwoofer (think a large truck or bus sound) about once per minute all day every day, while the AC is on. With 2 bedrooms situated on rear end of the house, this equaled little sleep for light sleepers. - Owner gave exact same response wording to me as given in prior review comments. I have low confidence they will address anything even if committed.

weekend family get together

We've rented 6 different Milford beach houses over the last 10 years, and this was definitely one of the better ones! The place is as described. It is newly renovated, clean and has some across-the-street views of the Long Island Sound. In addition to the 3 bedrooms I expected, the attic was finished and had an extra single bed that came in handy. The back deck is nice, though when we stayed, the grill was broken (we didn't plan to use it anyway, so it was no problem.) The place would have gotten 5 stars except that it appeared a previous guest had been smoking in the house and we could still smell the lingering scent. Hopefully, with time and attention, that won't be a problem for future renters.

Newly renovated 3 bedroom on CT shore.

Good location. Recently remodeled. Very clean. Town has been rebuilt after Sandy. Beach access across the street, but remember it's CT, not Florida. Some excellent restaurants a short drive away. Audubon Park is close and a must see.

Nice weekend getaway

The house was neat, clean, just as listed, photos are accurate, right across from the beach in a quiet neighborhood and easy commute to Fairfield. We were there for parents weekend and it served as a nice getaway for our student. We had planned to have some student friends over for a BBQ but changed plans due to weather…luckily, because there was no propane for the grill and there are only dishes/utensils to serve about 5 in an otherwise very well-equipped kitchen. We appreciated having coffee already there and some other basics had we cooked. We also loved having drinks on the deck around the fire pit, until that propane also ran out. With some minor additions (extra propane, more plates, etc) this property would have been perfect!

Close to the beach

Nicely renovated home just across the street from beach access. Friendly neighborhood but a busy street. My husband and I stayed for a family wedding and were within minutes from amenities. Comfortable but more perfect for younger adults as the house has a steep stairway. A few things needed to be addressed upon arrival, but my husband & I were able to address on our own.

Good experience because of the people not the place

I’ve stayed at many rental properties. This one was suitable for our needs, beds were comfortable, and necessities were provided. Furnished sparsely in bedrooms. We thought there was a minimum number of towels but discovered a large unfolded load in the dryer. Kitchen silverware, bowls, drinking glasses, wine glasses, and mugs were in very short supply for a party of five (and the place holds six) and inadequate if anything was in the dishwasher. This was very disappointing. The property manager said these things were on order so check first.

A great staycation!

Arrival was seamless. Property was incredibly clean and tidy. We loved the extra touch of heated floors upstairs. The walk to the beach across the street and the water view from the upstairs bedroom can't be beat.
