Check in was fine. They explained all the amenities and gave good directions to the room which was located along the back of the motel. Looking around, the public areas were clean it definitely shows its age. Our room was nice and cool and everything worked as expected. The first issue was when we washed our hands and reached for a towel to dry it was damp. Which isn’t uncommon in hotels. The problem was that it was every single one and even the sheets and blanket felt damp. There were also stained pillow cases and sheets. We tried to over look this and stay the night but we ultimately left at 10pm and made the 3 hour drive home. Wasn’t terrible but we would stay elsewhere if we ever came back to Odessa.
