The real attraction is the waterfront. The cottage sits above the lake with views through the trees, and guests can head down to the water for a day of swimming and playing on the lake. The shoreline has a sandy bottom, and the rental includes plenty of lake toys:

Pickleball courts are only about a five-minute drive away, and Tom’s Market/Meat Market is walking distance for groceries, fresh meat, grilling supplies, and everything you need for a weekend cookout. There are also a variety of casual restaurants, pizza spots, bars and grills, and local dining options within a short drive.

A Quick Note About the Lake Access

The cottage is elevated above the water, so there are exterior steps down to the lake and steps back up to the cottage. Near the waterfront, portions of the walkway transition to natural stone and rock steps. Guests should be comfortable using stairs and uneven outdoor surfaces.

Once you are down by the water, you have your own lakefront area to enjoy swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, sitting around the fire, or simply relaxing by the dock.
