« Earlier reviews emphasized cleanliness of the property. It was not clean. Let's start with the positives. The bed was clean. We checked in without incident. The negatives. The house was not remotely clean. We owned an old house and were expecting radiator heat, etc. However, there was dog hair everywhere downstairs despite the fact no dogs are allowed. There were dustbunnies on the floor with dog hair. The rug and couch in the living room were covered in dog hair. The furniture is dirty like it...

« This VRBO was lovely! Neat as a pin with all the necessities for an overnight stay. The primary bedroom had a large bathtub plus a stand-up shower and the second bathroom was a full bath with a nice shower, as well. The area was very quiet, with a large field all around the home. We were even greeted by a local rooster and a beautiful doe in the morning. 5 stars, would definitely stay here again. »

« If you have a bunch of guys headed up to the AOAA this is a great place to crash. Just know its a big room with a huge bar, pool table, darts and some beds in it. Come ready to party. Plenty of parking (long trailers slightly more challenging). Comes equipped with a fridge, microwave and a blackstone.Mary, the host, was a saint and took care of us for sure. Be sure to check out her restaurant (Olde Stone Tavern) its one to remember. »

« First, the place is represented well as described and pictured. Great kitchen and sleeping arrangements, plenty of room. Communication with the property management company was inconsistant. Here are the issues stand out. First, the Google Maps link sent from the company directed us to the wrong place and had to ask those owners where the VRBO place was. Second, as others have said, wifi is spotty and slow inside the house. Third, we had requested early on to have some additional firewood...

« We stayed here for Bucknell Parent's Weekend with our three younger children and one friend (ages 9-17). The home is spacious and clean and is located directly across from the main campground hall and office. It is between a 15-20 minute drive to Bucknell - on local roads. The house has the basics, including linens, which was a nice bonus for a short weekend stay. The owner/manager was communicative and helpful. »
