« There are NO STAFF ON SITE. I was on tour, which means we often check in after midnight, after a show. It terrified me to arrive at the hotel to find that I needed a security code to gain entrance, a code that was buried deep within several looooong messages from the hotel. « Room was really clean and cool. Can tell the property is new and there’s nothing wrong with that. Great TV with remote. Nice little balcony area. The music for the bar is loud and runs late but if you’re used to that then you’ll be fine. No mini fridge, coffee maker, or microwave. Those are my only complaints. And it would be cool to have ice available at all times. »

« The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. « A lovely place to stay in Louisville. Ideal location if coming for themShakespeare festival in nearby Central Park or a morning stroll at Saint James Court. Parking was not a problem. The house is beautifully furnished but the small rooms are not well suited for reading or meeting people. My bedroom was simple but comfortable. The kitchen is convenient. « Luxury accommodations in every way… food is delicious, service is top notch. Only issue is the noise! Traffic noise was loud and constant all night. Very disruptive to sleep. I would have thought this property would have much better insulation. »

« Such a lovely building, clearly loved by all who work there. Information about the property, check-in procedure, etc. was communicated very clearly before my arrival. Fresh lemon blueberry scones were there for a snack when I arrived near midnight. Wow. When booking, I didn’t think about the lack of elevator at this property. My 68 year old knees did complain a little when climbing the external & interior stairs with my luggage. »
