Welcome to Sweet Retreat located in The Beachwalk Resort.
Here you will find plenty of room to spread out and enjoy your vacation. We are just a short 7 minute walk to the beautiful beach on Lake Michigan. Beachwalk Resort amenities include: Heated outdoor pool, wading pool for toddlers, splash pad, basketball and tennis courts, playground, paddleboard, kayaking, fishing, bike rentals and clubhouse with pool and ping pong tables. Clubhouse has a snack shop selling coffee, food and ice cream for the kids! Beachwalk Resort has everything you need to have a relaxing vacation, however if you are looking for outings
The Indiana Dunes National Park, hiking trails, Blue Chip Casino, wineries and breweries are just a short drive away.
If you need more space, check out our coach house (Sweet Inn) #3101650-Sleeps 4 to 6. Happy to provide a discount if you rent both houses together for a week. We don’t have a golf cart on our property, however Beachwalk works directly with golf cart company, LanCam Inc. Contact them directly at 219-929-9221 for rental information.

Perfect house for multiple families. Everyone had their own space and such great common area space. We had 8 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of room. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen to cook all the meals and was so nice to have a table that fit us all. We had such a great stay and made lifelong memories!

Check in was easy and host was very prompt in response to questions. Home was clean and comfortable. Some more hooks or places to hang things would be nice. A lot of room for everyone and we made some wonderful memories. Would definitely recommend the Sweet Retreat.

Fantastic Getaway!

This house was the perfect place for our family- six adults, seven kiddos. Well stocked, comfortable, and close to the pool, park, beach. The master bedroom and bathroom were such a treat! Our kiddos made great memories here.

Beautiful place

Sweet Retreat is a gorgeous place to stay. It had everything we needed to have a wonderful relaxing stay. The kitchen is well stocked. Beds were comfy, and the front porch was a fun place to hang out with our morning coffee.

This Stay was amazing! Tbh the pictures don’t give it justice. When I finally arrived at the property, I got way more than what the pictures described. There is a very clean large and spacious bedroom in the basement that is not shown in the pictures. Large enough to fit 12 of my friends and I. I definitely recommend

Wedding Weekend

Sweet Retreat and its companion property Sweet Inn are the perfect place for a family gathering. We were there for a wedding in nearby Michigan City, so the location was ideal. With the two houses rented together, we had the right amount of space to gather as a group but also have some privacy when needed. The smaller house is great for older family members or those with young kids who need a separate quiet space. It was cold and chilly, so we didn’t use the outdoor space, but it looked lovely as well. Both houses were well stocked with kitchen supplies for cooking for a large group. The host was responsive, flexible and helpful and made sure we had what we needed for a great stay. I left a nice review on Sweet Inn but forgot to click the stars—it was 5 star as well! Would definitely rent again!

Great Reunion House

We had 4 families staying here, coming from all around the upper midwest for a friend reunion (8 adults and 10 kids aged 3-10). Each couple had their own room, and the kids camped out in the basement (or in their parent's rooms). We utilized many amenities of the Beachwalk resort (yoga class, pool, playground, tennis, shuffleboard, bocce ball) and spent a day at the BEAUTIFUL Lake Michigan beach down the road. Be sure to bring everything you might need for the beach (sand toys, chairs, shade, etc). There was a wagon to use to help cart it all. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels to go around, plus we used the washing machine to keep things freshened up! We had a great stay here and would not hesitate to recommend it to another fun-loving group!

Nice family reunion

Beautiful location with lots to do in the community … the house was clean and kitchen has plenty of equipment/dishes. Assortment of spices… but brings everything else needed for food. Great communication of how to check in… be aware everyone must wear event wristbands and cars need parking passes. Ours were missing in arrival… but they brought them quickly. We enjoyed the pool, pickleball, beach access. They have local live music in the evening. Would recommend for groups wanting space both inside and out!

Wonderful for a big family get away

It was very clean, well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, toilettes, blankets and pillows. Short walk to the pool and the parks! Lots of space to sit and visit.
