This is our third year staying at this property. It works very well for our large family. The multiple beach chairs and a wagon to pack stuff to the beach is a wonderful benefit. The fenced yard and the firepit to sit around in the evening are very enjoyable. There were a few maintenance issues. We were informed that the ceiling in the lower bathroom was being repaired, so we totally understood that problem. The shower curtain in that bathroom needs to be replaced. The handle on the main entry door needs to be replaced; it is extremely hard to open. The kitchen needs a working can opener. The glass tray and the turntable that it sits on in the microwave don't work together. In fact, we removed the metal turntable part because it was throwing sparks. The kitchen faucet is difficult to switch from a spread out pattern to a steady flow. The water to the hose outside was turned off due to a leak, we are assuming. We arrived on a Monday. This is trash day. The cans did not get emptied. One can was totally full and the other one was half full. This did not leave much room for our six days of trash.

Family Reunion

This lovely and spacious home worked out so well for our family. We enjoyed being together there , the beach, out to dinner. Great location. Would recommend. Do note the circular staircase.

Great experience

I booked this house for a chill bachelorette weekend. The bridal party had a few breastfeeding mothers. When we arrived to the house we noticed the fridge was not cold. We waited about 2 hours before contacting the host. Once we told him the problem he immediately had someone come look at the fridge. To no fault of anyone the fridge had died. The host immediately offered to bring us coolers with ice in them or to move to another one of his houses that wasn’t booked out. The new house was only a block or two away, very nice and plenty big enough for all of us. The host contacted me the next day to check on us. He apologized many times even though it was no one’s fault, offered solutions and was great to work with. I can’t recommend this host and his property enough!

Strong Family Holiday

Ì loved that it was enough room for everyone. Especially liked the upstairs. The kids loved being able to play their video games on the big tv. The kitchen and dining areas were perfect for us. We had to get use to the high tech appliances.

Friends' Getaway

This was the perfect house for our group of friends to gather, play cards, visit parks and the gardens, and sample local restaurants. It's conveniently located, spacious, and very comfortable. Two upstairs rooms have multiple beds and a nice bathroom, but the spiral metal staircase is a bit of a tight fit for luggage or the faint of heart. Overall, an excellent place, particularly for the reasonable price. T

Great Space and Location

There was plenty of room for us to store our stuff and then still enjoy hanging out! The house is in a nice neighborhood close to the beach and a short uber drive to many hang outs - marina, shops, bars, and of course wineries! Spacious kitchen and open to the living room so you could be prepping food while still being part of the conversation!

Family Girls’ Weekend

The adult girls in our family decided to get together for a weekend. There were 13 of us. This house was perfect! Three of the bunk beds upstairs have a double bed on the bottom. The seating downstairs was comfortable. There were about 8 beach chairs and a wagon that we were able to use when going to the beach. The fire pit was a perfect way to spend the evening. If we ever do another girls’ trip to Michigan City, we will seek this house again.

Fits Large Group Well!

This is our second year staying for a full week at this property. This house is the perfect size for our family, and it is a walkable distance to the lake. We like that it is supplied with several beach chairs and a wagon. Several of the repairs that we suggested last year had been completed. However, the toilet in the lower bathroom is still unstable; it rocks. Also, the towel bar in that bathroom fell down on our first day; it was barely hanging in the wall. Last year, supplies were well furnished. This year, we ran out of toilet paper on day four, dishwasher pods on day 6, trash bags on day 6, and there was no firewood. This was a bit disappointing. Overall, however, our entire family really enjoyed vacationing in this home. Thank you!

Great house for girls getaway!

The house had great space for all 5 of us to have our own areas and still come together to celebrate. Very comfortable beds, clean throughout and the yard was great. Only a short walk to the beach and close to many other amenities. Soooo much better than a hotel while still paying about the same cost for our time. We would definitely consider booking again for our next trip!

Overall, it was a very nice experience. We loved how much room we all had. The kids loved staying in the bunk room. The stairs were a little tricky but not bad. The area outside for a bonfire was awesome along with the wagon and beach chairs! We enjoyed our walk to the beach!

Great family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay, our group consisted of aunts and uncles and a set of grandparents and seven cousins. The upstairs Loft room with bunk beds comfortably had the seven kids ages 3 to 12, and they enjoyed having a space to hang out and play and be together. Outdoor fire pit was very nice, kitchen well stocked for meals at home for big groups, short walk to Beach. Todd was a great and responsive host with good communication. Highly recommend!
