This was our favorite place to stay on our trip. Thank you for the lovely stay! The kitchen was large and spacious, lots of room to make dinner and enjoy a meal. Location was perfect, very close to the lake and lovely quiet neighborhood. Kids loved the place, and spent some time in the "clubhouse". The deck was lovely (even though we never did figure out how to turn out the lights).Good service with everything. My little girls loved the huge bathtub! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Overall we had a nice stay, but would probably not stay here again. Pros--Quiet, wooded location with nice porch/outdoor seating options. -nice beach at the end of the street (about 3/4 mile down the road though) -Various sleeping options-Good communication/response with host.Cons--Bathroom:The single shower was difficult if you had for more than a few people. The other bathroom, only had a soaking tub, but no shower curtain/potential for showering or use other than bathing.-not the most family friendly-there are too many cords, decorations, hazards for little kids. -the double handle door system was difficult to operate-having to turn both knobs to open the door due to the keypad lock. -not worth the price in our opinion. For 400/night, this was not to the same luxury standard as you would expect.

The homeowners were great and worked with us to get us into the house, Vrbo has not helpful and made things extremely difficult. The check-in problem was not with the homeowners it was with VRBO's lack of communication!

Long Summer Weekend

Great little house, location if you are going to the beach is fantastic! If you are able to walk to the beach it is about 0.7 miles down the road, beware there is no parking at the beach. We drove to New Buffalo beach, it was 11 minutes each way and they have all day parking there for $20. We also rented kayaks one of the days right across the street from the beach, would recommend that as well. The only stand up shower is in the master bedroom off the kitchen. The other bathroom does have a soaker tub with shower handle

Pics are not accurate - Very disappointed

The interior of the house was clean. There were a few broken items, back door hinge, shelf in bathroom etc. Laundry left in washer and dryer- dirty coffee pot, dishwasher wasn’t unloaded. The exterior was terrible. As soon as we pulled into the driveway I was disappointed. There were 2 ft tall weeds all over the yard. There is no way you could enjoy sitting at the firepit. The pond was not working. The porch had trash and dead plants on it. The grills were both very dirty (one unusable). The trash cans outside had not been emptied so no where to put our trash without raccoons getting into it. Dirty diapers around the trash cans with trash. I have never left a bad review but this was so disappointing. I messaged the owners and let them know of my disappointment but no response.

Nice location. Very close to New Buffalo and beaches. House amenities were good; nice bedrooms, porches and fire pit. Water quality was disappointing; very heavy iron taste and smell. Not adequate toilet paper provided for 9 people staying 3 days.

Cute place, great location!

Super cute cabin with space for us to all spread out! Loved the screened in porch! Our only concern/issue was the water. It unfortunately has some sort of sulfur/iron? content, that needs to be resolved. It leaves an orange/rust color on you and your things. We were able to buy drinking water, so that was fine.

Cute and Comfy Cottage

We rented this property for my sister’s bachelorette party, and it definitely served it purpose. The property was well cared for and included ample amenities. All of the beds were surprisingly comfortable, and the property was comfortable for our group of 11 ladies. It is within walking distance to smaller beaches on Lake Michigan and a short drive to Michigan City, New Buffalo, and many wineries and breweries. The deck was awesome for extended the living space. The bathroom situation was not ideal - there is a small full bathroom off of one of the bedrooms and and second larger full bathroom off the kitchen, but the second bathroom only has a hand-held shower head and no shower curtain, which made it difficult to use. Based on our plans for the weekend, the bathroom situation did not significantly impact our experience, but it is worth noting. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating during the booking process and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property for a low-key weekend with a large group!

Girls night

Perfect house for a girls weekend. The setting is beautiful in a wooded area and the house is so cute. We had 8 ladies and it was the perfect for that sized group. The house sleeps 11, but over 8 would be getting a little tight but would be doable. It is about 10 minutes away from New Buffalo, where there is a casino and restaurants, but note that the house is in Indiana on central time and New Buffalo is on Eastern time which can get confusing. Overall a great stay!

Beautiful spot

This was a truly beautiful place. This was my first time using VRBO and I was truly pleased. The house was clean, great furnishing and plenty of personal space. The house location was nice and quiet away from the main road, which was truly amazing. Plenty of space outside to sit and unwind as well. We were a group of six and everyone enjoyed their stay. The friends I was with even asked for the information on the house so that they can come back one day and stay here. I will definitely be saving this location for future stay. Definitely recommend it. The hosts are also super quick to repsond to any questions and concerns that you might have as well as helpful if you're unfamiliar with the area with suggestions on what is forth seeing and where you can get some good food.

Birthday/Family get away

Great house for our weekend. Our host were so responsive and even dropped off some cute outdoor beanbag chairs. Location can not be beat with shopping and the beaches. Some members visited the Botonical gardens and others fished.

Adorable house

Really well decorated & maintained house. Perfect for our girl trip to the Indiana dunes. It read that 11 could sleep here, well 5 was perfectly comfortable. I could see 6 but after that you’d all be on top of each other. Glad their was two bathrooms & we could run the shower water along with the bath water without one going cold. That helped a lot when getting ready to go out after being at the beach all day. Well stocked which was very nice considering how little some houses have.

A Charming and Peaceful Getaway!

A cute home on a quiet wooded road. Comfortably sleeps up to 8 and a very functional, updated kitchen. We used the large deck, outdoor seating area, fire pit, and also the screened-in porch extensively. The weather was comfortable, but for hot, muggy days, the home has a great air-conditioning system. Lots of cute details, it makes you feel very-much-at-home. It's a great stay! We loved it!
